a blast from the past the real deal befor all the dance and rave and happy hr bing drinking came on the scean. such a shame to see this style of tunes go under ground only those who know there roots from the 70's and the 80's will really understand the true vibe when clubs had the drive for real ska and punk bands with a mix of roots. and thats why there r so many clubs closed down and thats why the specials made the song gose town

I'd like to see one with some 3rd wave ska also. I know 3rd wave isn't really everyone's style though. Personally, I'm more of a 2-tone, 2nd and 3rd wave kind of guy...

bad manners are not 2tone but madness started off on the 2tone label with the prince and one step beyond also their track MADNESS was on the go feet label so yes madness are 2tone, also madness were on the 2tone tours in the late 70's and early 80's along with the specials. ska is truely of jamacan origin and therefore mainly trojan, 2tone is a mixture of punk and ska as that is what the coventry automatics(the specials) based all their music on

everyone knows the 2tone label was started by the specials altho bad manners were on the dance craze comp they never thought of themselves as 2tone they didnt like it and distanced themselves from it and madness were a pop band nothing more just a cash in thats why they came out slightly later than 2tone bands
