Yeah a lot of people were telling me that it makes a big different, but Ama still put one on. Say what's the different from megacharge,procharge,supercharge??
Not as huge as most people make it sound. The stock intake is very good. Best thing you can do is get cold air to the engine which requires an intake where you cut the fenderwell and put filter on bottom.
Otherwise the other intakes like Vector, IEATSRT8 and Jettstream just make marginal changes.
Stall, depends on how hard you want to launch it at.
Generally speaking, in most LS1/LS2/LS6/ect cars, 3000-3200 is a great strip/strip/red light stall rating. Might be different for a heavy suv though...
Trany, 4L8E conversion would be great. Beefy in stock format and could save you a few g's if its used. 1K for the conversion package though and you'll need tuning for it.
i understand. damn i sound like a 16 year old kid asking all these silly questions, but i was very interested in one. what would be some of the things that i would run into? cause it will be my daily driver. wont be overly modified, but coming from me, thats a stupid thing to say. if there is a chance it will go faster. i will spend the money to get there..
@01FormulaSE i have a awd 06 tbss. if you dont go crazy with it you will be ok. mine has a tune,cold air intake and exhaust and it runs 13s and never gave me a problem. if you start movin 5000lbs in to the 11s sure you will start breakin shit.
I dont know. Depends what you want. Fun daily driver and surprises a lot of people. Most people would not guess a 5000lb SUV would run in the 11's. But not the most reliable vehicle I have owned.
is the Attitude Cam worth it? i've heard different opinions and I'm considering getting that done to my TBSS.

Best...as in most gains?
Intake would likely be the FAST.

hey man, that is one awesome tbss, i am very impressed with your build. including the price of the suv, how much do you think that you have invested?

@01FormulaSE
Hard to say. I have tried a lot of things. 3 stalls, 5 intakes, two trannys, etc.
On top of price of truck new I would say $20 to $25k.
