Proverbs 6:17 tells us that God hates hands that shed innocent blood. Please do not tell me the Bible contains a contradiction.
That would seem to be so if God really asked Abraham to sacrifice hios son. Please note that Abraham did not sacrifice his son, but a ram.
He sacrificed a ram because the Earth was entering the age of Aries the Ram at that time. Christ said to watch for the man bearing a pitcher of water- that would be Pisces. Let us connect the dots together.
I am a truth seeker but the question you present is not the one I ask. Instead I ask, show me in Tanakh where God says He will offer the son of David as a sacrifice to atone for sin?
Since this Gospel is the most important revelation in the Bible of God's heart according to Christians, surely God would emphasize it. Surely He would tell us clearly. For surely God would be more clear about this than He is about Tabernacle details or how to dispose of our waste in battle.
Did God test Avraham or did He have Avraham kill Isaac? IT WAS JUST A TEST! So why didn't God have him killed & raise him from death? Why not since you all think this is a foreshadow of Jesus? Why not tell the whole story? No, because that's not what God wanted to teach.
@Schtayven Of hell, ref. to Rev 1:18 and of sacrifices, ref. to Torah. Eze 18:20-24 does not show "no sacrifice". Eze 45:17 show sacrifices in the third temple period.
If you sin, you have to cut off your sinning parts:
Mat 5:29 And if thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast [it] from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not [that] thy whole body should be cast into hell. Mat 5:30 And if thy right hand offend thee, cut it off, and cast [it] from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not [that] thy whole body should be cast into hell.
Yeshua teaches that man is more inportant then animals...
Mat 6:26 Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?
The sacrificial laws of YHWH come with sin coming and go with sin going, not eternally enforced. YHWH love the righteouness, judgement, lovekindredness and faithfulness.. If He did not kill animals, He has to kill His children in His own Image. The day you eat of it, the day you die...if you love your animals as parts of yourself, you dont cut off your parts to sin...but if you sin, you have to cut off your parts lest your whole soul enters hell.
"But when the Pharisees heard it, they said, This fellow doth not cast out devils, but by Beelzebub the prince of the devils. Mat. 12:24
"But he answered and said unto them, An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas:
For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth"
@robbieYAHU You have been killing millions to billions daily, brother. Plants also have life and so are bacteria, mosqitos, bugs, rats. . The ten commandments are subject to teachings in other commandments of YHWH. WIthout the right teachings, the ten commandments are subject to man's own interpretations after man's own righteousness. You shall NOT kill any innocent man and you shall not kill anyone without authority from YHWH...this is the right teaching.
@robbieYAHU Brother, another thing is suggested, Because you sin, you have to pay for it. If you sin a deadly sin, you shall pay by your own death: The soul that sins it shall die. You could not go free when you hate (which is equal to kill) someone ( your past sins to be a racist) and just say I am sorry. If you dont pay for it, you cannot enter to the Kingdom of Heavem, but to hell.
@Schtayven the third temple sacrifices (during Millenium)
Eze 45:18 ¶ Thus saith the Lord GOD; In the first [month], in the first [day] of the month, thou shalt take a young bullock without blemish, and cleanse the sanctuary:
Eze 45:19 And the priest shall take of the blood of the sin offering, and put [it] upon the posts of the house, and upon the four corners of the settle of the altar, and upon the posts of the gate of the inner court.
@Schtayven Rev 1:18 shows hell and now the lake of fire..
Isa 66:24 And they shall go forth, and look upon the carcases of the men that have transgressed against me: for their worm shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched; and they shall be an abhorring unto all flesh.
@robbieYAHU When your understanding of the Scriptures contradict other many scriptures, never thought you are right, the scriptures are wrong. The reverse is truth: your understanding is wrong if you contradict other scriptures.
To SIN means "to miss the mark". Was not Yahshua taking away our ignorance, by showing us how to not miss the mark.
John 1:29 does not mention sacrifice or blood. Yahshua showed us by the example of how he lived that everyone was missing to truth by following the religious elite of the day.
@Rush6477 Sin is violating the commands of YHWH in the Torah and Yeshua came to show by His Teachings and Doings how to keep the commands of GOD, including denying yourself and carrying your OWN cross to follow Him. Before all this opportunity is available to you, you have to be REDEEMED (purchased) by His own Blood and have your sins to be washed away if you sin later on.
one question, if blood is needed for a sin offering, how did Yeshua say to the paralitic, son your sins are forgiven you?
also if the blood was all we needed for sin offering why does Yeshua tell us that if we do not forgive men their sins, then neither will God forgive us?
@bendixen12 i totally agree. i think that what ultimatelly shows to some doubtful ppl that Jehoshua´s intentions weren´t for earthy power or greed is that He totally laid down His life, when 1 single answer to Pilate would have set Him free as Pilate wanted, he crucified 1000 Yehoshua followers by Jerusalem walls but felt very scared to do the same with Yehoshua
HE and His followers deliverance of their lifes is the proof for unselfishness. what would many say if they had lived comfortabily?
1. As the Lamb was spiritually slain from the foundation of the world, and as Yeshua would be actually slain later on to redeem all that would believe and repent, He as the Son of man had the power (authority) to forgive....the necessary condition to be forgiven is to forgive others. If it were NOT for the Blood (life) of Lamb as a sin offer by YHWH, all died before a chance was given to forgive others to be forgiven by God.
2. the Salvation plan was prescribed before the foundation of the world...Rev 13:8 ... written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.
when Adam and Eve sined, YHWH first slain innocent lambs to cover their shameness/sins Gen 3:21 Unto Adam also and to his wife did the LORD God make coats of skins, and clothed them. This is the type that YHWH would slain His Lamb (Yeshua the Messiah) for man (sons of Adam).
3. The blood of animals could NOT actually atone for a soul...therefore, before Yeshua offered His own soul for sin offering, the old time saints who died remained in the underworld and graves...they had to wait till YHWH slain His own Son to get them out of graves. They ressurected with Yeshua..Mat 27:52 And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose,
4. In the sacrificial laws, the animal sacrifice is foundamental...plus grains offering. Some sins could NOT be atoned by any animal sacrifice...for example, David commited the sins to deserve death twice - adultery and bleed innocent blood of a righteous man, the Hittite. David's sins were forgiven and wiped out, because David was quit to repent and YHWH's mercy with atonement of the Lamb slain since the foundation of the world...
so for a sin he should of been killed for he was forgiven without blood, but for all other sins Yeshua had to die??

if shedding innocent blood is an abomination to God, then how can God shed innocent blood?
@bendixen12 GOD is a Spirit and He Himself is not the Lamb, but His Son Yeshua the Messiah is the Lamb of GOD.

Isa 53:11 He shall see of the travail of his soul, [and] shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.
@bendixen12 Usually the lamb could be either of sheep or goat. The Lamb of God is both. The lamb in Gen 22:8 is שה seh = one of a flock, lamb, sheep, goat, young sheep, young goat Therefore, the Ram as a male sheep in speciality in Gen 22:13 is of the general Lamb category.

those are both lies
if sin and grief and tears aer wiped away, why would we be able to look upon them?
would we smile and laugh as there are no tears or sadness anymore?
hell is hades is grave
most of the minor prophets show no lake of fire, 1000 year reign, lamb, armegeddeon prophecy at all
