  • Guitar playing: Charlotte > Jane

  • Back when artists sounded amazing on albums AND live. That's become a rarity in todays music. Most of which sucks now. I remember getting my first go-go's album on my 5th birthday in April 1989! Good times :)

  • Anyone who thinks it's easy to drum like Gina Schock has never sat behind a drum kit.

  • @TrackerNeil

yes... I learned drums from Gina and Roger Taylor from Duran Duran...you can set the automic clock to them!

  • this is my favorite go go's song. can't believe it's not included on the otherwise great double cd compilation "return to the valley of the go go's."

    great performance, btw.

  • being a new wave band drummer, easiest job in the world

  • I love the Go-Go's.

    They rock to this day.

    Their music never gets old.

In fact, their songs are as good today as they were back when they did them.

    Thanks for posting this.

  • This still gives me chills just like when I first heard them live in LA!

  • I love it too! that is what "Kick Ass" looks like, people!!!

  • I like the way Belinda's voice sounds in these live performance.

  • The best song off of the greatest debut album of all time. :D

  • love this song, love this girls, love 80´s, whatever but this girls rocks, remember this was 27 years ago, many things were different then.

  • Kick ass!!! I love the muddy guitar that Charlotte plays on this song and the girls are singing their lungs out on the backing vocals near the end...

  • there concert,s were running nonstop, they are probably exhausted, get a clue then post !!!

  • this is my fave go-go's song. this concert was actually played on my birthday. I was born november 3rd 1982. Unfortunately I didn't get a chance to see them live until 2001.

  • OMG, Char looks so coked.

  • The Go Go's #1 song.

  • Belinda,Belinda....

I love how you go and make this song wway faster than normal.

    Cocaine does wonders for you.

Still great performance my favorite song off the debut album.

  • This song is the hidden gem on the debut album but it is Charlotte's frenetic energy that powers this incredible version of "Tonite."

  • WOOOOW. VERY OBSCURE. NICCCE! =D

  • thanks,i am so grateful for this technology, when we watch these videos we crank up the music we party like the 80's on the weekend love there sound..

  • Defenitely a part of our lives in the 80`s and now, thaks for posting this.

  • This totally rules. Though a live version of This Town would rule even more...

  • @dreadnaught666 but live at the greek

  • The Go-Go's rules!

    Belinda Carlisle 4-ever!

    Voila!

  • I saw them with my girlfriend back in '84. We were in the first row. My girlfriend was getting mad because she was convinced that Belinda was making eyes at me through out the whole concert. The only time that girlfriend got jealous.

  • That was impossibly hot; thanks for posting. Might be even better than the studio version. This is their most underrated song. These Berlin '82 clips are the best Go-Go's vids that I have seen...real gems!

  • agreeing with you!
