I play DDR mainly with the controller, which people like to say is completely lame, but I'm damn good at it. This is one of my favorite songs to play, though I have a hard time consistently FCing it. It was my first AAA on beginner's mode, though, which I guess is something to write home about. XD

I love Gradius music. That song is actually a remix of a song from Gradius. You also hear it in the arcade version of Gradius III. I also found that the drum kit that's used in every NES game is an Analog Kit, and I realised that Analog Kit is actually a lo-fi Dance Kit. So, this song is actually to be what it is here. Im trying to be able to beat the song on heavy, but since we dont have much arcades in alaska, only in movie theatres, Ive just been playing on a house pad. I do enjoy the arcade platforms much better though, because you can stomp with padded shoes. Do you think I should wear shoes on my house pad to practice? or stick with socks?

i do play the game. and im not good enough to get a AAA on burning heat. i usually get an A or a AA. im not saying im completely unimpressed, im just saying i find freestyling more impressive. freestyling is a whole show put on that looks really cool. perfect attack, while it may take the same amount of skill, just doesnt look nearly as cool. your basically trying to minimalize the movement you do to hit the arrows by using the bar and making short quick steps to every arrow

If you play In the Groove 2, try playing "Fleadh Uncut" on expert. I can clear it but I'd find it much harder than the song on this video. But nice hitting those notes that accurate, seriously.

i have asthma i need the bar. that is so i dont die. so i think that the bar puts me at equal advantage as someone who can breathe like a normal person. personally. anyhow, i dont really care who uses or doesnt use the bar. its really a matter of preference. in that case changing your speed would technically be considered cheating because you can see the notes more clearly, and lots of people do this, and its an option in the game, so i hardly see this as cheating.
