  • Wok and woll kwazy nights.

  • 10 people don't like Eggs and Steak!

  • いつまでも色褪せないな。

  • Fuck yeah. First time really listening to Loudness. Too bad that I wasn't willing to expand my musical horizons in the 80s...I stuck with Twisted Sister, Crue, Ozzy, Poison, Ratt. Hair bands. Better late than never, I suppose.

  • 最高!!

  • check out therion in tribute this song....loved the singer...i guest primal fear/sinner/iron savior singer

  • I bought "THUNDER IN THE EAST" and was really impressed, then I saw them open for Motley Crue and was completely blown away! But I was there with my girlfriend at the time and had to sit through Motley Crue's "THEATER OF PAIN" crap, who were dead to me the second I saw the album cover for it...

  • @TattooedSteve

girls girls girls had some good songs, I really like You're all I need though. A beautiful ballad with those sort of lyrics is something only the Crue could come up with lol

  • @pilotamurorei

And it was based on a true story. Regardless, it rocks.

  • dude you uploaded this too??? youve got the greatest channel man \m/

  • Epic song, Niihara is way more kick ass than Vescera as singer... even tho its wok and woll as someone said b4 ^^

  • M Z A ! Before this, I thought "Hey ! Hey ! Hey !"

  • Whatever happened to this band?I still have this album and another one on cassett.

  • They still around. I'm seeing them at the M3 Festival in May. @TheMarkster1957

  • Super !

  • i totally have this album on vinyl, pretty awesome.

  • I saw Loudness open up for Motley Crue back in the day. It was suppose to be WASP or someone similiar but Loudness opened. We were kinda hooked after that.

I remember about the 3rd album they brought in an American singer..but can't remember his name.

  • NICE ACCENT HAHAHA !!!

  • Wok and Woll you.....lol,still funny.....This song rocks!!

  • I LIKE THIS! Who woulda known I like Japanese metal? cool :)

  • @pranicmegan If you want to know the name of another excellent Japanese metal band check out Seikima II. Their right behind Sabbath and priest on my list of all time favorite metal bands. They even have their own video game!

  • @BLACKSABBATH0HM

And the MIGHTY Blaze (JPN) !!!

  • @pranicmegan The fact that they're Japanese shouldn't change your mind in the slightest.

  • @pranicmegan anthem are good too

  • this is brutal

  • \m/ Loudness forever!!!! \m/

  • This is one of the greatest riffs for an intro. The whole album rocks out and it should make you wanna go out and eat pussy...OOPS! Sorry, I meant sushy.

  • just listen to the song fuck analyzing it Its all about the metal

  • TURN IT UP!!!!!!!

  • I rove Roudness.

  • how can u not like this? its funnier than hell

    \m/

  • I'm a japanese,50-years-old. I spent my young days in HM/HR. I loved Ratt,Lynyrd Skynyrd. Were these metal years good for all of yours? I wish so.

  • this guy ledzep0620 trying to reduce this amzing band. who the fuck you think you are, as i can see you like led zeppelin, do not even get me started yet. Theres so much i can say about led zeppelin, but i wont for respect and love for rock music.

  • it´s a good song no doubt about it but honestly i prefer the cover of therion ñ_ñ

  • HEY HEY HEY! CRAZY NIGHTS! Thank God for these guys, they opened door for Japanese metal! Rising from the east and saying "Konichiwa, now let's rock!"

  • 6 people had a shitty night.

  • Ahaha Loudness fans are so friendly :D People are dissing Minoru Niihara steady and everyone takes it so politely lol.

  • Your a douche. Zep sucks.

  • Still love this band!

And I don't want to hear the "More Metal than blah, blah blah..."

My parents didn't have any luck in telling me what to listen to, so don't even think you have half a chance!

  • I saw Loudness at the Rainbow Music Hall in Denver, Colorado on April 25, 1985. Because English was a second language for them they were going like "Freakin fruckin' frock and froll!!!!!!!"

  • MZA should mean Mindless Zombie Appetizers!

  • Great Heavy Metal tune from the only Japanese band who had commercial success in the U.S. Look for the actual official MTV/VH1 video of this song for true appreciation. Small obscure fact - the Lead guitarist Akira Takasaki publicly challenged Eddie Van Halen to a guitar duel. Most likely for publicity. Although Eddie declined (nothing to prove) Akira was quite accomplished & they were virtually equal in talent.

  • I always heard the "You are the heroes tonight" line in the chorus as "Your mama she rules tonight" or "Your mama get loose tonight" until I looked up the lyrics. Kind of wish I hadn't looked up the lyrics now.

  • M.Z.A!

  • i was a kid and i remember you pulling this album out of your crates of records and telling us that we had to check this new band out. If you were still alive today i know u would post a comment here somewhere on one of these songs, so i will do it for u. R.I.P John Shackles

  • They sound like ACCEPT!!!

  • Awesome fucking guitar tone!!!

  • This song kicks ass.

  • I saw Loudness open with Dokken and Saxon for Iron Maiden in the 80's in Paris..What a talented Japanese band !

  • one of the few bands from other countries besides Germany that came to America to compete in the metal field. I always thought they were good. great guitar work!

  • This is good turn it up loud music not to be taken to seriously music. Just have fun and party music!

  • WOCK N WOLL !

  • @bambamh20 You are propably aware of it already but Japanese language does not have r in it. One example I can remember is trip which turns into tulip :)

  • Hammerfall does a phenominal cover on this on their album 'Masterpieces'.

  • MZA! Those crazy Japs, they come up with something catchy and we as Americans completely love it with no idea what it means (kinda like Pokemon)

  • @Rollermacka Kinda like the French loved Jerry Lewis and didn't completely get his act

  • what a great guitar anthem kind of lick,,,,luv it.

  • Mindless Zombie Appetite, we fans, should make and acrnym ( i can't spell, back off LOL!) For M.Z.A. Due to the Loudness' epicocity! hehehe take care cx Thanks for the upload :D

  • MZA!!!

  • 最高の曲!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Honestly now.....are these guys really any good? Don't get me wrong as I love metal. Everything from Megadeth, Manilla Road & Rage to Zeppelin to Priest and Maiden. While Loudness put out some ok riffs, their lyrics are knee-slapping cheesy and the vocals are 3rd rate at best. Not trying to hate........just don't get them.

  • @ledzep0620 You have to get used to them. I used to think the law of devils island was boring and theat the vocals didnt fit but now ive come to love it! As far as the lyrics its probably a translation issue as English is not their first language.

  • @ledzep0620 I believe lyrically they are weak., also English isnt their main languange. I just came out fresh from one of their concerts( 30th anniversary tour). Gotta say their live act is awesome. Vocally Minoru performed ultra excellent, cant believe he is 51 now? Dont compare his vocals with Rob Halford, thats no competition. For me, Minoru actually sings better than Bruce Dickinson. Comparing both studio and live performance. Bruce kinda becomes flat sounding when you compare vocally.

  • @malaimaren10 Finally someone has the balls to come out and say that Bruce Dickinson isnt the greatest fucking singer ever! Rob Halford is much better, even my friend whos favorite singer is Bruce told me that Halford is a better singer. Also Minoru is unique but for some songs you have to give him time.

  • @BLACKSABBATH0HM i'll be even more controversial.i think paul dianno was a better singer for maiden

  • @BLACKSABBATH0HM

I think Halford used to be a better singer than Bruce, but his voice is wearing out nowadays. Dio and Geoff Tate of Queensryche were both just as good, if not better than Bruce though. And Loudness ain't half bad either.

  • @BLACKSABBATH0HM Bullshit !!!!!!! Bruce is better.....

  • @BLACKSABBATH0HM Derrr!!

Its CLEAR to hear who the best singer out of Bruce and Rob is.

Anyone who think there is any doubt hasnt heard LIVE INSURRECTION

  • @BLACKSABBATH0HM

Dickinson is great but he's not the best vocalist I've ever heard in metal (that'd be Roy Khan). Still though, any good singer singing metal is a good thing, always.

  • @BLACKSABBATH0HM Hi! thought the same, till a friend has been backstage with uriah heep and bernie shaw told her, bruce is a singer, rob is a vocalist! Got that one but didn't know theres a difference.. and in fact, for me there isnt, just 2 guys fronting the 2 most awsome bands in the world. We don't need to talk about guitars and amps either, everyone got his settings and sound, and heavy metal they do!

  • @malaimaren10. thanks bro. I was in high school in 78-81 when Saxon, Diamond Head, Maiden, etc......were all coming out. Heard a bootleg of Loudness in 1980 so I bought "Birthday Eve" in 81. Didn't like it at all. Akira is a pretty fair shredder, so I gave em another chance with "Devil Soldier". Didn't like it either. I guess you're right tho, they're an acquired taste. I'm half Japanese myself so I can see why language could be an issue. Course, that didn't affect Scorpions or Accept!

  • @ledzep0620 i think a german accent carries over better since german than english are closely related more easily than a japanese accent does

  • @malaimaren10 You seriously think he's better than Bruce? Go buy a new pair of ears man!

  • @evermetal2 Halford is better . . . . much better. So is Dio. Bruce is good, but not the best.

  • @sixgunsymphony Not in MY book man, sorry.

  • @ledzep0620 these guys were total shit unless you lived in japan, trust me dont waste your time here

  • @ledzep0620 OK, are these guys in Priest, Slayer or Metallica? Of course not. But they're no worse than a lot of the mid range stuff.

  • @ledzep0620 ..just enjoy it if you can... I have for decades!!

  • @ledzep0620 - they're from Japan, best "Copiers" in the WORLD ! they can only "COPY" what they hear, they still sound "COOL" though !

  • @justanotherengine How are they different than 99% of all the bands out there right now? Every once in while, a new original band comes along. They get signed by a record label, puts out an album, gets crazy big, and a year later, there are 50 other bands out there that sound just like them. That's the way of the big record companies. Because they don't have the balls to sign original acts, they just sign bands that sound like some other band that sold 10 million records.

  • @ledzep0620 "are these guys any good"

seriously dude they WERE a japanese metal act from like 1985.... Next you are gonna ask us if VHS is as good as beta...

  • @ledzep0620 If you don't get it, keep your mouth shut. This album is more fun than any from the same genre. Keep it in the context of metal thrown in with some hair, and then maybe it makes more sense. It aint Priest or Megadeth fool. Also, keep in mind it's Japanese . . . . . somting tu drink??? Make sense now? Wok n Woll Crazy Nights!

  • @ledzep0620 what do you expect there from japan

  • @ledzep0620 i bought this due to akira takasakis first rate playing , then i was impressed with the songs too, this is one of the weak ones, cept for that solo,u need to check out the other songs from thunder in the east... run for ur life..heavy chains.. clockwork toy.. theyre all good really

  • @ledzep0620 It's the cheese that makes the lyrics great. I don't like any of the bands you listed except Megadeth. I guess I don't like serious metal.

  • IT's STillBADASS EVERYTIME i HEAR IT

  • @ledzep0620 You are expressing a serious sense of cultural ignorance here. They are Japanese and do not speak English very well, they were trying to be and American metal band, thus the lyrics in terrible pigeon English.

  • @ledzep0620 The vocals were worse before they ditched their original Asian singer. lol

  • @ledzep0620

    listen to Hellhammer

  • @ledzep0620 Check out E-Z-O. Another japanese band from the late 80's. Much better in my opinion.

  • @ledzep0620 Hell no dude this singer has an incredible voice man. and how about you try to play some their leads. This band has a legitimate guitar god in their ranks man.

  • @ledzep0620 Well nice to have metal bands from Japan. These guys and "EZO" do have some fine riffs

  • @ledzep0620 its all matter of opinion and taste i think the lyrics suits the song well

  • @ledzep0620 I like all the lyrics exept for "you are the heroes tonight" kinda cheesy

  • @Jezapple but we are the heroes tonight

  • @ledzep0620 shut up!

  • @ledzep0620 the trick to all the glam metal bands is that they were over-produced to try to maintain some sort of musicianship. Loudness was no exception.

  • Yup! I miss so much that real deep Rock hard music...

  • awesome tune!!!

  • this riff is fairly easy but kick ass you can learn this ruff in an hour

  • M.Z.A! M.Z.A! M.Z.A! M.Z.A!

  • I wish they had stuck with this singer. They were awesome on Thunder In The East. And that guitarist is one of the best I've ever heard.

  • Well, after doing some searching I see they are back together since 2000. See, living in America you have to search to hear about stuff like this now days. I'll have to find some of their new stuff to buy now.

  • How'd they go from THIS to J-pop?

  • Roudness Locks

  • @pokerkingTJQKA "...lock and loll clazy night...you all the heloes tonight" Seriously though, these guys took a genuinely American invention - "80's hair metal" - imitated it...and did a better job than many American groups!!!

  • @pokerkingTJQKA Roudness? If you can pronounce the R then do so with "locks".

  • @pokerkingTJQKA you mean roudness rocks.

  • for being a jap band they rock saw them live awsome

  • FUCKING KILLER!!!!!!!!

  • helllllllllllya!

  • I like the story of MZA. I just found out about it after all these years.

  • loudness !!!

  • according to the singer:

"MZA means… nothing actually! Honestly, let me tell you that when we wrote the song Crazy Nights we didn't have lyrics. ... I just came up with the sound 'M.Z.A.' which was fine for preproduction. When we were actually recording the album we tried to figure out a line for the song instead of 'MZA.' We tried, but we couldn't find any good lines so Max Norman said we should forget about it and just use MZA. We didn't come up with a meaning for it either."

  • Roudness rocks really haard! They do best rock and roll. Make you have a crazy night!
