  • Theres one thing i need to know where does your voice get picked up from? the phone microphone? or does your car got an external Mic that picks your voice up? when u synchronize your device with the car system...?

  • Does this work with any car/SUV? does it need any specific features for iO to work(Range rover)? Thanks for the vid bud, well done.

  • the iphone or the oyyphone lol joking mate, cheers now.

  • do you have to press iphone screen source each time you make call

  • jiojwdxqw

  • They should have developed the iphone extention thingie as a charger that goes in the lighter as well - otherwise with what they're selling the iphone's battery will get so drained

  • Is this unit compatable with Mazda CX9 with the Bose stereo and Sat Nav?

  • i've got an M5 toooo =]

  • Could you please demonstrate AVRCP play/pause from outside the iPod interface? For example, with the music already playing, press Play/Pause on the headset while in maps or browsing the web. Actually, a reply will work just as well (no need to demo).

Basically, an adapter I bought off eBay (BT-IPOD-236) dumps me back to the iPod interface when an AVRCP pause signal is sent manually or automatically (when I receve a call or even LOOK at voicemail). I don't remember my Sony TMR-BT8iP doing this

  • Man it sucks!!! This 2008. Why so many handlings just to have a easy connection. How hard can it be!!

  • iO have developed a Charge & Play iPod/iPhone dongle that has a mini USB socket in the base of the dongle and then you plug the supplied cigar lighter charger lead into it to charge the iPod/iPhone. I think this is due out in the next month or two.

  • It's only seen in the US as the BT-IPOD-236 on eBay, though there is a BlueICE/MacSense adapter I saw at Fry's Electronics (miniUSB charge port is too far off to the side for my usage). The iO Play iO-BTAIPODC is actually the same as 8bannanas BD-906 that has been available for months (steep shipping from Australia). Mine often just shows "Plugged In" but not "Charging" (shows a plug but not a zig-zag/spark/lightning bolt). This is very disappointing.

  • on long journeys i need to charge my phone as well as listen to music is this possible with this system?

  • nice and slick set up. too bad i don't live in the UK. no, seriously.

  • nice car

  • BMW 5 series interior xD

  • woah....

Thats pretty awsum, where can i get 1

  • You can buy the iO Play from all Halfords stores and all The Carphone Warehouse stores in the UK. It costs £149. This price includes the iPod/iPhone Bluetooth Adaptor and Installation into your car (including necessary connection leads).
