the distance he sprinted at his own half was about [(105/2)-16.25+20]/cos10 = 57.1m

After he turned, he sprinted (105-(52.5-20)-16.25)/cos60 = 32.5m

total distance = 89.6m

just a simple calculation, might be wrong =]

It's nowhere near 60 degrees and your result was that he ran more than a third of the total distance after he turned but if you look at the video it looks like only around a quarter of the total. You've just made up numbers to get a desirable answer, an absolute taboo in the world of big boy maths
