ohhh man i still know my first char a level 6 undead warlock(2008 the day they owned the most imo :P) i was in tirisfal and i went into the farm with the zombie-gnolls and i went inside what looked like a stable and i scared the hell out of myself due that when i went around the corner there were a gnoll and a quest mob i needed and i died :P
I remember asking a guy when i was lvling a mage in deathknell if he started recently. He told me he just started playing so i made a prank...
I logged my lvl 38 rogue who was in Tirisfall Glades after a Scarlet Monastery. I went to deathknell,i let the guards kill me and then i ressurected inside Deathknell. then i followed this guy and when he had the spider quest in the mine i went in there waiting. He probably still remembers when i showed up with the skull over char lvl and scared him. :D
As soon as you enter this corrupted forrest of evil and darkness, you feel like something or someone is watching you. Something terrible happend here. A history of evil and violence. The town folks told you to always follow the road, for what lies out there is unknown. One thing is certain, and that is it's going to get you - if you don't run fast. Behind every bush, every tree, every hilltop. Eyes. Staring at you - watching every move you make.
Honestly, it sounds nerdy, but if you guys want WoW to feel the same way as it did for porcu12345, join an RP server. I've been playing for 3 years, and I've never felt the same as I did when I was a noob until I did.
@fitzywow Well, RPing really gets you closer to your character, and it creates a WHOLE new level of stuff you can do, meaning that people that have cleared all of the end game content of an expansion that have nothing to do, have the option of RP. And trust me, RP can get pretty intense. As long as you know how to spell properly, and are with people who RP properly, you won't wanna stop. And Goldshire, there is a lot of... cybering that goes on there... Not too fond of ERP...
Day 37. Still looking for a way out of the forest. I'm convinced that the spiders are still following me, but I need to take a break. Perhaps if I get some sleep, I'll{the rest of this page is covered with blood and webbing.}
I feel strangely comfortable when listening to this, Ive fallen asleep to this once or twice, and as depressing as it sounds, this makes me feel better...
Just imagine, throwing your enemies into a dark, damp, forest, filled with dead trees, rotten corpses, and a wind that cuts to the bone...
Imagine hunting them, taking pleasure in their fear... taking pleasure in their sorrow and pain, and finally, ending their miserable life and throwing their body into a thorn bush...
@Silme037 You dont have to... I just find the thought of hunting my enemies down and making them drown in their own fear and misery comforting. Everyone has a dark side I guess...
The Day music sounds more like you are in a spooky forest whit graves and spirits around you everywhere, but it doesnt sound threatening.. its just spooky but it still aint sounds like zombies are going to come and chase you, its more like you have entered a creepy forest on the day, and the spirits wants you to go, they are just warning you, cause at night, the dead will rise and haunt you untill you are dead.
my first ever wow character - a human warrior .. aggroed some gnolls and swam aross to duskwood. when this music played .. damn i was pissing in my pants when the wolves attacked
This song just screams Spooky Forest heheh...It wouldn't work for a Spooky House! Only a spooky forest...weird how it works that way huh? WoW always had an amazing soundtrack
walking down a blood splatched path and up ahead you see a dead body, only to see it slowly move up and looks towards through rotting flesh and eyes then to find other courpses rising around you and as the the blood hurdling screams come, let the next victim come to this fallen place.
Most frighten day, was actually at night play. Died from undead a few times, but was mostly concerned about abomenation until...I was curious about the middle.
I crit myself seeing a dragon there, and frantically ran off...I was newb & low level. haha
I remember in vannila wow,i was walking about REALLY late at night,no one around and i was doing a quest when suddenly about 4 zombies ganked me,i literally fell off my chair
Was so cool when I first entered Duskwood. The dark corrupted forest with zombies, and the night watchers was out of town protecting =P. This was such a creepy place, but also an awesome quest zone :D
I remember first hearing this music when I started WoW two years ago in Tirisfal Glades, very fitting music for that zone, it strengthened the feeling that those dead trees had armlike branches reaching out to grab you.

if anyone plays WOW i would like to be ur friend and talk about WOW stuff anyways i turn my music off when im playing WOW dont like hearing the music creeps me out. I like listening my music on youtube instead of WOW's. Wow's r creepy anyways plz be my friedn if any people play WOW i like to hear from u!
This creeps the shit outta me. When i think of this music or am in duskwood it always reminds me of the abomination that creeps around. And i always check behind me if he's following me. Of course he isnt always a threat, not at lvl 70 :p
yeah, even though it was just a game, when I was playing in Duskwood at night with no one in the house and most of the lights of the house all off seldom one light right behind me because "other people in this house are trying to sleep", I always feel like I'm gonna get jumped by something... In fact, I can actually recall jumping around and bursting into sweat every time my house made a noise under said situation.
It's kind of creepy, i remember the first time i played WoW, it was in tirisfal. I looked behind me and saw some UD rogue, following me, and he ran behind a tree when he saw me looking at him. He followed me for a long long time, when i was walking i tilted camera to see behind me so he wouldn't know i was looking, and i could see him come scuttling out from the tree / bush he was hiding in and keep following. Especially when i stopped to kill mobs, was weird. He was quite a distance away.
Reminds me of having the whole raid wait in Deadwind Pass for that one guy that has the Kara key
