  • St. Leonard (represent!). You can catch Bitchin' Kitchen on Cooking Channel every Wends at 10pm! xo BK Crew

  • How can you not love this girl? But, I have to say, it's not "rimbambite," it's rombombite, and it's like calling someone a "mook," or a "stroonz," like, "what a rombombite, that stupid mook."

    And Nadia...honey, it's "minkia," not "minghia." I know, dialect...abafongool!

  • @fidelityeastpub here in mtl we say minghia :) Different dialects, honey.

  • @BitchinKitchenOnline Local Calabrese Montrealer-Love your bit! When r u going to be on Tv?Just curious,..what part of Montreal you from?

  • @fidelityeastpub it's neither LOL it's

    rimbabmbito and it means dummy

and it's minchia not minkia or minghia

    abafongool...wtf is that lol

    vaffanculo or affanculo for short

  • rimbambito/a that's the word!!!!!

  • @bluecolour78 Sure is!

    XO the BK Crew

  • That's what we were sayin' LOL everyone just needs to laugh and smile a little. Thanks for the comment. XO The BK Crew

  • any way, new yorkian, canadian, or italian.....she may even be Cuban, she is rocking and trembling the cooking show scenario.she rocks, enough of batally, Bams and the like.

  • Mamma Mia you knuckle-heads!! You're getting all RIMBAMBITE about rimbambite!!! This is not a grammar class, it's a comedic cooking show.

Oh, and pardon me for leaving soooo many comments. I'm new at this Youtube subscription channel stuff.

  • She's one hot Italian!

  • way too many folks missed a vital part, COMEDY SHOW !!

  • @captainsandpaper right?! That's what we were thinking. Smile people, It'll make ya feel good! XO AP from BK

  • A few things: she doesn't have a NY accent. I can tell by the way she pronounces many words that a lot of the nuances of our NY accents aren't there. People hear 'vaguely Italian' and automatically think NY.

Also, she's pronouncing the world wrong. RIMBAMBITE literally means "remade into a baby" and she's missing the "into" part when she pronounces it, if that makes sense. She's basically saying "remade baby". There are different parts of this word that come together to form its meaning.

  • @thatgirlinitaly We know that Nads doesn't have a NY accent - she's from MONTREAL, bro. Check out 'A Thesis on Nadia G's Accent' on our website, and you'll find out more about what happens when you mix English, Italian, and French Canadian!

As for the comment about Rimbambite...What?

Get back to us on that one... xo BK Crew

  • @BitchinKitchenOnline I only spoke about the NY accent because everyone over on her other videos thinks she has one.

But as far as for rimbambite, she pronounces it completely wrong, missing the "m" and effectively making it a different word. Ri + im + bamb + ito = they're all parts (morphemes, almost) that make up the word. Taking the sum of its parts, it literally means "remade into a baby," or silly/forgetful/not thinking straight. By mispronouncing it, she makes it incorrect in meaning.

  • @thatgirlinitaly Nobody cares if shes correct, so stfu

  • @thatgirlinitaly Uh...nice disappearing act after getting called out on thinking she was an NYer. Also, next time you are near a dictionary, look up "slang." Do you believe a "Hot Dog" is cuts of meat from a Dobbie? I can only chalk your ignorance up to jealousy.

  • @ausgepicht Are you blind? Can't you READ? I already posted I only spoke about NY because everyone on the other videos says she has a New York accent, which she clearly doesn't. And if you claim to speak a language and then want to teach your viewers words in that language, it would help if you pronounced the word you were trying to teach correctly. :) Nobody is saying she isn't funny. She's just wrong! So relax and give me a fuckin' break over here, alright?

  • @thatgirlinitaly Some body's an AMER-I-CAAN LOL

  • @celestian1111 Someone is from Canada!!! From Montreal to be exact XO BK Crew

  • @BitchinKitchenOnline Wuz the mudda wit u. This is getting all RIMBAMBITE. LOL..The someone who I was referring to as an AMER-I CAAN, is @thatgirlinitaly. I was only teasing her because our friends a little South of the border can be Amero-sentric.(Although I can see how Nadia can come across as a bad NY accent. I'm also from Montreal btw. Luv the show. Congrats on your success.

  • I remember this from last year. It inspired our ItalianLessons101 word of the days. Now we see Nadia on FoodNetwork.

We love the show, had no idea it was the same person until we looked a little deeper on YT.

  • Hey Nadia what part of NY are you from?

  • MA CHE CAZZO TI INVENTI LE PAROLE

  • You are sooooo hot!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @nineteen68er We'll tell her for ya!

  • I learned this word when I was little and my uncle told me "Mattia if you keep on playing with Nintendo 64 you'll soon be rimbambito!" ahah.

By the way I've always said "rimbambito", with m... So did my parents and my relatives...

  • @eliottelescorielese My parents used to call my brother this all the time! Xo Ange from BK

  • These webvids are great. I have only seen you on the foodnetwork up until this point and now I have some catching up to do on your videos. Congrats on working the show up from the web to live tv and I love your quirky humour. Gratia bella donna!

  • @hottchoda Thanks for the support! The crew and Nadia appreciates it. U rock!

  • NADIA! On Bitchin kitchen on the foodnetwork, you should do more Words of the day!!! I LOVE THEM! :)

  • Hey crabby people! Don't take things so seriously!

  • @AxSDenied464 What this person said! Chill, guys. Have fun!

  • @BitchinKitchenOnline i love u XD ur my fav!! i love to cook and im only 14! lol

  • It's RIMBAMBITE, not ribambite. If you need to teach Italian, at least teach it correctly...

  • @batuffolinabianca if you look at the video, the Nadster did in fact spell it correctly. The Youtube uploader... did not... and WHO CARES, have fun. XO Ange from BK

  • @BitchinKitchenOnline She spelled it correctly but didn't pronounce it correctly.

  • genious - love it!!

  • @nicoitalia88

Implying that southern italian is rough and not so refined ... obviously never heard venetian, piemontese or sardo ...

  • @ nico

Awful pronunciation? Souther Italian? How so? It's night and day. Montrealers have their own 'italian' and it cannot be compared to southern italy ...

  • Not so awful to us! Us Italians in Montreal speak like this... and it means exactly what Nadia says it means... it's modern Italian slang.

    XO Ange

  • what the hell is with this clip? I feel like I'm getting screamed at. Thanks.

  • I watched the video again... I didn't feel like she was yelling. Bope... maybe it's just the way us Italians talk... lol XO Ange

  • What's your problem with southern Italy???

  • What's wrong with "Southern Italy" ? Some of the nicest places are in the south: Calabria, Sicilia, Abruzzo, Puglia, Sardinia... I could go on and on.

  • Esatto!

    Well said

  • Yes, but what does this word means??

  • I'm italian...the correct word is RIMBAMBITA... (justa for female, rimbambito for male) it means stupid..

  • It means: confused...

    XO, BK crew

  • My Collins Italian dictionary gives "rimbambito" as "senile, in one's dotage"

  • Is this dialect? I've never heard this before? or is it standard italian?

  • i agree

  • mingia bro i'm all worried

watching nadia reminds me of fun times living in st. leo...

  • Yup ;). A walk down memory lane for some, a shiny new world of improper English for others. XONG

  • You really look like britt spears!!!!! wow

  • WOW Nadia your ring could knock out a boxer,

id hate to get pimp slapped from you =D

....nah jk you could slap me =p
