what level are the basic infantry painted to?

hey, just got a few questions. my older brother is interested in playing warhammer fantasy but due to a physical disability he cannot make or paint the figures. what would the price be for you to make a 2000 point army for skaven? could he ask for the army to be based around a specific clan (or would this increase the price)? just he seems to have taken a liking clans pestilens and skryre

the yellow is a lil sloppy on some of the models but everything else is amazing!

I like it, though I think the yellow on the tanks is a little too much seems like it needs a few other colors on them to break up all the yellow

I don't really like the pale yellow look. I personally think a warmer colour look better.

@liamweight: well, take into account that orks probably have a horrible sense of fashion, so I think it just adds to the charm.

its bad when you can see the primer through the "paint". I don't feel that they should have ever left the building. But then I didn't pay for them, but made a trade to get them painted, I was curious to see how they would look. Now I don't have to give BTP any further thought, the painting is not worth what Shawn charges.

i agree, i no ther is the cost of supplies but $27 to paint 1 terminator is a joke really. thats what i was quoted then ontop is p&p to england. i wanted 5termies a custom chapter master and a model representing vulkan nearly $400 WTF

I think the slight bluish tinge that the Orks' skin has offsets the yellow quite nicely.

Awesome work putting this army together! The Kil Krusha Tank has to be one of the best models out there for the Orks! The only thing this army needs to more boyzcan never have too many boyz!

I have a special called "Basic Training"

$650 for a 1500 pt army ($325 down pulls the trigger) That's 382 UK pounds

$850 for a 2000 pt army ($425 down pulls the trigger) That's 500 UK pounds

This is with BTP getting to choose everything (you pick 40K or Fantasy, but we pick which army), and painted to a basic level (L2).

Basic Training has no "nixes". We can pick ANY army. Our policy: pick something good.  Generally, we don't pick armies like Necrons or Dark Eldar unless you open up for those.

this vid once again prooves that all you need for an army is about 3000 pts, So at 1000 pts. you'll will have a ton of vareity, so at 2000 pts. you'll be able tweak any weakness, so at 3000 pts. Get ready for a WAAAGH!!

Sweet job, and yellow is a real PITA which makes it even nicer.

The quality has really picked up lately at all levels.

To be honest though it feels like it is lacking a good going over with some weathering pigments, it would really make this force look that bit more orky, I'm guessing thats well and truly outside the scope of the levels this is painted to though ;)

Cant wait to see the Thousand Sons finished Shawn, all the best with filling those orders(if only I wasn't poor :P).
