Thanks for your interest. The funds dried up when the recession came along. The best I can do is ask Bryan Flynn (writer/director) again and hope to have some good news for you soon... ;)

a must see the best play ever my favourite song is ''Fly The Flag Of Freedom''!!!!!!!!!!So sad I cried when michael died!I went to see it with school and started a standing obation!!!!The best thing I ever did in history(and im a history freek!)
I go to school in the town of Skerries where Harry Boland was killed I felt sorry for him the set of the buildings and the abbey was fantastic it moves so easily
I won tickets for my class and I to go see it in Cork - IT'S THE BEST MUSCAL EVER!!! I know the mind boggles at the concept but it's really realy well done! It doesn't make him unsmirched and goody-goody but it is a brilliant account of his life and the feelings of ireland at the time. I could practically see the 1916 rising happen, it was incredible!!!
Went to see this in the olympia last night. am not a fan of michael collins and went totaly against my will... But it was AMAZING, great songs and very moving.. loved it.. i really reccommend seeing this to everyone.. :)
The reviews have been fantastic across the board (Ryan Tubridy's show called it 'a Resounding Success') and the box office is inundated. There are 12 more performances at the Olympia (closing on Sat May 23rd). The show will be back at Cork Opera House for a 10 night run from July 23rd.
'Michael Collins' previewed last Thursday 7th May at the Olympia Theatre Dublin and received a prolongued standing ovation from the appreciative audience. The official opening night on Friday 8th saw the same reaction and on Saturday last a packed Olympia Theatre again stood and cheered even before the final curtain.
Wow!! This makes me so proud that i was part of this! If there is ever a performance of it again please post it here! This really is up there with the greats in musical theatre! Ive seen many shows but this is the only time i have been reduced to tears! Such a powerful performance and rendition of patriotism ive never seen before! Everyone should see this at least once!
Hi Hayley. This was shot in the Opera House in Cork. You are right in that we did a run in the Theatre Royal just before this but if you look again at the width and depth of the stage you'll see it's too big to be the Royal...also, there's no proscenium arch in the video shots. Some of the stills might have been taken there though...
Amazing!!!
