I am in HS and my parents signed me up for kumon and I am doing shit I haven't done in 4 years!! Plus I am the only white kid at my local kumon everyone else are Indian's ( with the dot)
When our school district changes its math program from awful Trailblazers then i think Kumon will have a lot less students. Trailblazers taught us bits, skinnies, and flats instead of 1, 10, and 100. We also learned absolutely nothing about long division.

First of all Kumon costs about $140 dollars for a month at a time per person. Kumon is only open during the weekends. Saturday and Sunday. Kumon is usually only open during the summer. Students are busy in school the rest of the year. Kumon didn't change it's logo. You get a plastic box folder for your work when you go to Kumon. With the points you can win for 100 grade assigments, you can buy prizes at the end of the day. There are only Azn people working at Kumon.
My 8 year old and 5 year old (just started) goes to Kumon. My 8 year old can do maths way faster than me and he has been scoring above 90 for his maths at school never less than 90.
I can honestly say, kumon has helped me in the long run. In grade 4 everyone in my class had trouble with math, except me! And its still like that in grade 6! Currebtly, i am 11 years old, and on level H 110 Even though it is very tough, it has helped me so sos sososos much!!!!

EVERYBODY THIS IS NOT SPAM! To quit Kumon make sure both of your parents are asian and your in secondary school. Then bring most of your homework books. Explain to your parents that you have too much homework to do Kumon and maybe they might let you quit.
@stickdudeshooter For best results, say that you finnish your normal school homework about 5 -10mins before dinner and make sure your parents are unaware that its nearly dinner time. When your parents call you for dinner dont come out. If they are beginning to rage at you just say "The reason I'm not comming to dinner is because of kumon". Do that for a couple of days and your parents starting to get worried they might just make you quit.
Kumons so easy im 15 started when i was 14 and im in J level math but its such a waste of time. It helps a lot though and just cuz some ppl want to help others doesnt mean rich bastards who r stupid to begin with and complain even though they have everything doesnt mean they should diss

I've been brainwashed by kumon for about 3 years until I moved to the U.S. 2 years ago. After I moved, I was like "yes, sweet sweet freedom!" until I found out that there's another kumon center just two miles from my house. Oh shit. But my dad didn't force me to go. Once my kumon intructor found out that I was hiding my packets and told me this long story of some kid who did the same thing except his mom found out. Poor kid....

4-6 grade I have been doing kumon. A level math in 4 grade now in 6 grade F level. 4 grade I was in B level math. Now I am in I level math. 3 more levels of reading then I am done with that.
People, you have to be quiet. I have doing Kumon for 6 years now, and I am not complaining. I am in 8th grade and I am on J level. The stuff I am doing are things that some of the people working there do not know how to do. Kumon actually helps you if you are not lazy.
The year I stopped doing Kumon, was the year I got something lower than a B. The family is Korean, but the man knows his things and know how to help people. He has even offered to help me with school work.

I've been brainwashed by kumon for about 3 years until I moved to the U.S. 2 years ago. After I moved, I was like "yes, sweet sweet freedom!" until I found out that there's another kumon center just two miles from my house. Oh shit. But my dad didn't force me to go. Once my kumon intructor found out that I was hiding my packets and told me this long story of some kid who did the same thing except his mom found out. Poor kid....

4-6 grade I have been doing kumon. A level math in 4 grade now in 6 grade F level. 4 grade I was in B level math. Now I am in I level math. 3 more levels of reading then I am done with that.

People, you have to be quiet. I have doing Kumon for 6 years now, and I am not complaining. I am in 8th grade and I am on J level. The stuff I am doing are things that some of the people working there do not know how to do. Kumon actually helps you if you are not lazy.
The year I stopped doing Kumon, was the year I got something lower than a B. The family is Korean, but the man knows his things and know how to help people. He has even offered to help me with school work.
Kumon helps.
