At least Blue and Silver were pains, and Wally had a condition, and Brendan/May were your friendly neighbors who tested you a couple times. Heck, you can face Wally as many times as you want in R/S/E (or at least Emerald, I play that, dunno about the others). The one time he beat me in Victory Road was after I migrated my Rayquaza to my Pearl game. Oy.

Silver was a badass. Wally was a wimp. Barry was annoying as hell because he couldn't watch where he was going whenever you ran into him. Gary is the best rival overall because he knows when to be in your face and when to back off. Why the hell am I debating about this?

I don't really think it RUINED the anime...but I know they could have done a better job at making it. Especially how Brock seems to know everything that is going on but his eyes are closed. Maybe they could have done a better job, but I don't think it was ruined. But I do see your point.

No way, Silver was the best rival. All other rivals a little to friendly, even Blue (just a little). Silver was a class-A douche who steals Pokemon and beats people up. Pearl, Wally, and May are too friendly, so I just call them "friends". Silver and Blue are the only people the deserve the title, "Rival". Paul is an anime version of Silver, so I really don't care about it.

The former rumors were speculating that the remakes were going to be DuskGold and DawnSilver, since Nintendo apparently copyrighted those terms. However, it was announced several days ago that HeartGold and SoulSilver were going to be the remakes. It is coming out this November in Japan (10 years after the original Gold and Silver) and somewhere in 2010 internationally, now that Pokémon USA and Europe are one.

Well it was called "special pikachu edition" though it did have Yellow version at the bottom left corner of the box. When you look at it though, its just a huge adaptation of the cartoon. BUT....it did feature the happiness system...which admittedly became an integral part of evolving pokemon for the rest of the series. (which in my opinion...is retarded).

Yes, well because they stopped it is either one of MANY reasons.

1.) They did not have enough money to suport the show

2.) Ratings were bad and they had to cancel it.

3.) The show wasn't watched (I have no idea if that's a cause or not, probably isn' but who knows)

4.) Someone had a complaint and made T.V. Tokyo cancel the show itself!

5.) They cancelled it for THEIR own reasons, not mine.

But yeah, that's basically how a show can get cancelled. Although Naruto&Pokemon won't.
