i really do not like voices that are shaky, or must i say it must be modulated in such a way thaat the quality must still be there. no offense but i do not like her style of singing. it is somehow breaks my eardrum.sorry katherine jenkins. i guess the back-up singers are far better. you really cannot hit the high notes.sorry sad to say.FLAT

@MarcusJuanPaolo @MarcusJuanPaolo Mate, this girl is a classically trained Mezzo Soprano from the Royal Academy of Music in London. If you cannot hear the perfection in her voice, or appreciate her sheer talent then - with all due respect - you need a hearing test. I appreciate differing styles are not to everyones taste but "hitting the high notes" is what she does - and with alacrity.

She has a nice voice but i don't think it suits the song, the instrumental is amazing and if anyone knows where i can get a copy of it please tell me. Does she make a mistake with the lyrics, correct lyrics: "only you are the life among the dead", what i think she says: "only you are the LIGHT among the dead" did anyone else pick this up or was it just me? Other then that i really like what she has done with it especially the instrumental.

to me, the whole point of what amy lee does with this song, is sing it classically with rock music, hence, bringing classical into rock/ metal, so changing it purely to clasical, is fairly pointless.... in my honest opinion. fair enough, have a go at singing it, but don't claim to change it... it doesn't need changing. her voice is too harsh for this song.

Her vocal performance is excellent, and does the song justice, it annoys that this song is extremely overplayed. And it also annoys me that she is yet to learn the lyrics correctly. Other than that, a good cover.
