Its good to see that there are still a few people around who are getting their kids involved in the hobby in one way or another.

Video quality is to be expected for a 4 year old people, so give it up on the bad video quality. 5/5 for family participation.

wow u got urs for 40!!! well its been some months now but i got mine for 14. it was on sale i love this plane cause the first two flying machines i bought broke on the first day and this one got stuck so manytimes and came back to me although flying it is very difficilt its fun that way..oh and today i flew it against 18 mph wind and it like stayed there hovering in mid air then blew back like one of those fighter jets

I turns using differential thrust (woo big word :)  That just means one of the two motors spins faster to push that side of the plane and hence turning.

No that is controlled by how fast you go. more speed more lift.

I don't think they are its the lift of the air passing over the wing that does it. It was 40 bucks but have seem them on sail for 25-30. They are a little tricky to fly. If you want a good firt plane get an Air Hogs Aero Ace, the best hands down. It only cost 30 too.

It can also be made to fly SLOW on command, make flared landings, tight circles, even thermal "power-off". See my videos (OFFICE flight, etc.) and the "RCGroups"/"Micro RTF" thread: "StarScreamer into Backyard Bird". And the other TWO "secret" modes really only work when you move the motors BACK onto the vertical stailizers as described in the forementioned thread.

Some times you have to adjust the wieght depending on the COG. A little foward al little back etc. Also there is a mode on it Hold Left and Turn on the power light will blink 6 times and it's done. Less restriction but of course easier to crash.

Tape a large paper clip on top of the plane behind the on-off switch and it will fly much better: it will have more control and it won't rocket upwards as fast either. Try it, you'll like it. Really fun plane to fly!
