  • by far the best looking shooter on amiga was hard as shit if i remember think thats why i loved it !

  • I don't like CD32 version, I like AMIGA version of this game :-)

  • Gee guys, these were THE times hey?

I had a lot of fun working on this game ::-)

(I did the sound for the CD32 version) (this video) - it brings memory back because my DAT recorder broke and I lost my only copy of the game so THANKS for the upload !!

  • I WISH I HAD'NT SOLD MY CD32 NOW!!!!!

  • one of the few things from my childhood that after revisiting hasnt left me with a feeling of disapointment, it's as wicked as I remembered it

  • seriously under rated, since my amiga 500 died years ago i've missed this game. Can't even find a working rom, sucks so much. I can't understand how r-type is deemed better than this, disposable hero surpassed it in sound, playability, graphics and story, far more creative and original... gah, I wanna play it. Thx for the vid!

  • Amiga music was the best on any platform. Still got something about it.

  • Man, thanks to you I remembered this game after 15 or so years...

    thank you, seriously.

  • great shoot them up

  • mejor juego de naves hasta la fecha

  • These guys also made Hawkeye for the C64, they really knew how to make fantastic games.

  • Somebody with the CD version of the game should rip the soundtrack using a program like CDEx and upload it somewhere. If you need to I'll let you post it on my site.

  • @Neurovore: I've added both the original MOD version music and the CD32 tracks to the music page for the game on Retrotracks. Youtube don't let you post links so no idea how I'm supposed to tell you -where- to get the damn thing.

  • One of the best and most underrated Shoot'em Ups on the Amiga, imho.

  • Best Amiga horiz shooter ever! If not the best for any platform...

  • I wish I could get the soundtrack for this game somewhere.

  • @Neurovore Of couse u can.. search, and I think you'll find the song modules somewhere. Playback with e.g. WinAmp.

  • I have done searches online for it...I can only find the 16-bit versions of the song which sound flat and lackluster by comparison. I am looking for the CD32 version.

  • @Neurovore Oh, I think you mean you only found the 8bit versions (as in protracker modules).. I didn't know that they made a hi-fi (16bit cd-audio) edition - if that's what you are refering to?

I can actually hear the drums are souped up :D

  • @emilen2

Maybe...all I know is that there were two versions of the game, and one of them had better graphics and was released for the Amiga CD32 system a year after the Amiga 500 release in 1993.

I can only find the soundtracks for the Amiga 500 version of the game. If anybody, anywhere has the entire soundtrack for the CD32 system release (Which this is a video of, I think) I would be much obliged.

  • Fantastic game ! ... first time playing ?

  • Yes this was pretty good at the time

  • Great looking game. The cd32 had so mush potential.

  • Fantastic soundtrack!
