ive researched into the so called "ghosts" and they are actually just bots,used to check a map for anything like hacking,some people have referred to them as the "guardians",i personally had one appear in a local forge on sandbox,overloading the map by setting heaps of trip mines then let them explode,dissables the guardians and some built-in features such as the sky bubble on sandbox,and on isolation the lifts stop working,they just check for hacks/mods to maps,killing whoever modded/hacked it.

yeah bungie put's in bots on modded maps and other player made maps just to check for suspicious stuff.. eg: hacking, modding. You aren't allowed to mod in halo 3 I don't think so they want u to delete the map correct me if im wrong.

The SDRP did extensive research on this particular ghost. However, it can be destroyed. There are also rumors of a ghost that used a 2D sentinel beam but this has been confirmed to be the Guardians on Sandtrap. There's not just one ghost on sandtrap. Supposedly, there's also a gold/yellow/orange spartan ghost on sandtrap that has a spartan laser. Also, ghosts have been known to occasionally take the appearance of people they meet/that are in the game... I.E. xTEXAS GANGSTAx and the ghost looked identical.

I was playing matchmaking on sandtrap when a player named Security MOD joins. Weird things start happening. The elephants start floating in the air, mines start shooting from middle of the map, and players were shoved through the map floor including me. I've asked a couple Bungie employees they didn't even know how this happened. I have a picture on my Fileshare along with some other SM events. GT: Raptros555
