  • i love this poem so much!! Still I Rise You may write me down in history With your bitter, twisted lies, You may trod me in the very dirt But still, like dust, I'll rise. Does my sassiness upset you? Why are you beset with gloom? 'Cause I walk like I've got oil wells Pumping in my living room. Just like moons and like suns, With the certainty of tides, Just like hopes springing high, Still I'll rise.

  • Sorry, i'm creeped out :(

A few years ago, two parents went out for dinner. A few hours later, the babysitter was calling to ask if she could cover up the clown statue in the kids' room, the father said,"Take the kids and get out of the house. We'll call the police, we don't have a clown statue." The "clown statue" is really a killer that escaped from jail. If you don't post this letter on to 10 videos tonight, the clown will be in your bed at 3:00 am with a chainsaw in his hand. sorry

  • vERY NICE AND INSPIRING!

  • I thought this was brilliantly done. I was looking into the myspace short film competition and found your page and obviously this film. It is moving, nice one.

  • Wow this was mving. I showed this video to a student who could not get into the part. Younger kids have not struggled the was older people have. I myself was not aroung during the civil rights movement. This video gave the student a chance to see how it should be read...but I also encouraged them to think of a time when they were told they were something less than whet they were and how they felt and would like to have resopnded....I think it helped :-) THANKS FOR POSTING!!

  • thanks for your lovely comment. Glad it was inspiring to yr student.Sarah
