Nice action. It is very hoganesque. I must say it seems like an odd endeavor to try to make one's swing as closely like someone else's. Did you put this song on just to be ironic? I've watched a lot of Hogan swings though and you've just about nailed down his action. The only thing that sticks out at me a little is you recock your wrists sooner in the follow through; Hogan's hands were almost left/past his head in the follow through before his wrists hinged.
Nice swing! Do you watch any of Mike's, AKA "Sevam1" videos on youtube? He and Steve Elkington are working together to release some vids on Hogans "action". Do you go with the sensation of your right leg screwing into the ground as an ancor point? Thanks.

Thank you so much or the response, but I'm having trouble understanding what you are really saying. I seem to see your left hand cupped at the top of your backswing, like Ben Hogan. What does it mean to"take them straight in toward the center of my body?" Are you talking about hinging your wrists inward? Or simply pulling your hands inward towards your body? (Seems that would collapse your arc). I would be grateful if you could articulate more precisely.
martinez, this looks great. I just don't see how you get that flattening at transition and then get the club back so left from impact. When I do that transition move the tend to hit it right. I just can't get the club back around. I have a hard time keeping the right elbow bent. It wants to extend and chase. I think you said you had that problem before you started this transformation. I hope you end up coming to Dallas so you can have a look at my swing.
Yeah I play all the time. You just have to know in your own swing what triggers the transition....then you can hit it hard or soft depending on what the shot requires.
My 2 cents, if Hogan had been built with your Physical dimensions, ie, Big chest, solid hips/buttocks, your lever lenghths etc, his swing would have been the same as yours, yours is the same as his on a ' Pro rata' body differential ratio, best natural ' Lag' principals I have ever seen, ever.
Bad night with computer: meant to finish- I will post a message where you can view my video when I finish it.

Very nice. You should have used that swing in major competitions. Can I ask, do youdo anything conscious with the hands on the backswing? Thanks .

@kimmerlaw
Yes, I take them straight in toward the center of my body....then everything reacts to that.

Do you have any wood swings? Also do you tend to draw the ball?

Check in my other videos...there's one titled 'Ben'. I don't tend to Draw it, I tend to fade it although my ball-flight is pretty straight.
