Sadly, this was one of the last games created by Pandemic for the ps2 and b4 it was shut down. I personally, have the ps2 version and my friend has the xbox360 version and compared, the ps2 version looks like lazy work. However, this video makes it look awesome and I think the ps2 version is way better than all other systems.

NO! dont get it on ps2. im being honest, the first one, Mercenaries: Playground of Destruction, is MUCH better. the ps2 version of the second one is shit. you dont actually get to kill civilians, the motorscycles arent included, graphics are terribly bland. sorry to disappoint you but buy the first one! the first one is waaaay cooler. game is longer, more fun, and is made especially for ps2 unlike this ripped off shit of a game.

ya this game sucks for the ps2 their is only one map and its not that big and only a couple of city's there's only one mission that you do with the guerrillas and non that you do with the pirates and only enough missions to make up a quarter of the first game. plus their are almost no realy cool weapons I was extremely disapointed

in the trailer it does look like the first, but, it isnt, its alot different, if you have a xbox 360, or playstation 3, its online co-op, if you have playstation 2, its one person.

The fact you could do more in mercinaries than you could on most other games of the time made me buy it.
