wasn't 8.44 the first version after the scout got its major nerf/nerfs? i think 8.43b was the last one when the scout was really overpowered.
i was the first and only guy (as usual) to argue that the scout was overpowered and they were actually talking about making the scout stronger for a while which fortuanately didn't happen.
this is just my opinion but mines can be very useful in a 5 v 5 if you use them right. but they aren't that hard to counter if you know what you're doing.
I can't remember. I've argued many things which went ignored which is why i don't bother any more. It took over a year to convince them that damage should be dealt when one is invisible (walking on mines for example).
If you ask me, the earth robot is way overpowered. 80% dmg reduction is a joke.
I used to find heaps of bugs to report, and made many suggestions, some of which are in the map now. But i really can't bother any more. They just don't listen to logic.

I think you're missing the point that the scout is designed for creep killing, so much that it renders the demolisher and light tank useless. It's a stupid concept that shouldn't ever have been put forward.
Mines are noobish (to start off the game) because using them is the art of running in, placing them, and running away as fast as you can. Mines you get you, like 2 kills maybe? After that people will know and switch lanes, unless a heli is present. It's just a silly tactic, like exploder.
LOL mines are easy to defeat simply by buying a hull, and it's hardly a noob tactic using them.
Demolisher's not even useless vs a scout. First off all, it can buy a multibow and farm as well. It's got that much more HP and can stay in battle compared to the vulnerable scout. Send a scout against me any time, the thing will die in no time.
