I remember that. Chiefs had a penalty and had to re-kick after brown called for a fair catch when he had plenty of room to make a play. It was OT I think. Then next kick, the players were tired and Brown decided to run with it. TB was the best!

Damn i remember this game. They had Timmy back there just calling fair catches that season. The play prior to this he fair caught it and was pist, he wanted to return it and he got his chance because of a penalty they had to re-kick it to him. At least i think that's how it went down...

i was at this game! if i remember correctly jerry rice got his 20,000th yard of his career during this same game. i remember paying $90 for a ticket in the upper most level. i wonder how much that same seat is nowadays - unfortunetly probably a lot cheaper =(

I remember watching this game on T.v. It was the perfect set up. Brown Fair caught every punt and made everyone believe he was just out there for "for sure" hands. What they didn't expect was that brown still had speed and tourched KC for the TD. Classic!!!!

most people dont remember how badly he injured his knee in his second year... it took him 3 years to get back into a meaningful role. If it wasnt for the terrible knee injury in his second year(raider fan her) and if he played for a good qb of the time, like elway, marino, montana/young, kelly, simms even kosar n boomer... on 3rd n 8 everyone knew where it was goin. But he could still get off the jam, beat the lb, turn the trailin corner and sit in an impossible zone and make a tough catch.
