Totally pointless, and I'm with the person below: if it's "smart", battery-powered, and electronic I don't want it anywhere near my home defense weapons.

Takes too long to arm the weapon. Plus you have to worry about battery life. Not a weapon you want to trust your life on.

I absolutely love the fact that the Pistol is a Smart Gun. Still what I want to know is whaen will they make it into a larger caliber than a .22
