The sex chromosomes happen in the last 3 months prior to birth. I'd say you did hit on that similarity- there is a crossing between boundary, between sexes with trans people and between form with therians- but otherwise no, I wouldn't say there's any tangible genetic explanation for therianism.

My mate is transgendered, and we share every experience~ feelings, shifts, etc. The causes may be different (although there's no proof that they are, as there's also no proof that they're not), but the phenomenons themselves are very similar, if not the same.

@SavTheWildcat you must not do much reseach because there are theiranthropes and there are werewolves they are close to each other but not the same and theiranthrope is someone who has the soul of an animal and werewolf is someone who can change physically, spritially and astrally into werewolves. im no expert but ive been researching this stuff for 3 years

@MrInsanieac I never said humans were the greatest. I'm just saying that I don't believe in werewolves or vampires. And don't get me wrong, I'm a fan a of vampires and werewolves, I love them. But I don't believe they exist, it would be great if they did though. Especially werewolves, they've always been my favourite.

I guess I am a Therian then. I always get these impulses to act like a wolf and howl and everything, but I can't act them out because people already think I'm a wolf freak, they call me "The Wolf Girl" at school and it bothers me... but I don't have others like me I'm alone and I wish someone would help me with it. I believe in spirits and everything but I wish I wasn't portrayed as a freak because of who I am...

now, there is a difference between the term werewolf and therian. so this video is sorta mistitled. however, who's to say that they dont exsist? you have to remember, most legends that have been there for long periods of time in many different countries, have to have at least some truth to them.

Y'know... A lot of us therians aren't as out there as these guys. Documentaries like this make more of a killing if they take the extremists out of a group and act like that's the norm. Sometimes even I wonder if it's all just some psychological thing that helps me cope with shit... But the thing is, it doesn't affect my life that much. @coombsy16 Of course she can't. She's uber overweight. And yet I wonder where I get a keen sense of smell? So I share some animal attributes more acutely than some humans. Oh, and I can wiggle my ears and pull them back with those muscles like a dog to hear better than I already do (I am hearing impaired so that doesn't help too much.) I also like having my meat medium rare (only Angus steak, though), because the cooked blood is there and also the meat is not rubbery than well-done steaks.

@MetalSStar196 being a therian does not mean you have a keen sense of smell or any physical animal attributes, it means you feel like your not in a body that you normally feel like. (its different for everyone) and it doesnt mean that you eat raw stake every chance you get either, its more of a spiritual thing. Say, christans and god. they feel a connection to god well, its the same thing with therians, we feel a connection to animals and things and we feel like its a part of us.

The thing that amazes me about us humans and human culture is the infinite diversity of people. I think that this aspect of some is very strange, most people do. All I have to say is ...if they aren't hurting anybody, and are not trying to brainwash others, then I'm fine with it ... actually I'm interested in learning more about their belief structures it's fascinatingly weird :)

Righto. They are so good at hiding, that no one knows they exist. And I'm a part of a secret group called the Leprechaun mages. We travel the underworld searching for magical marsh mellows.
