  • i don't think they realize that walmart employee pay taxes too.

  • Oh, where to start. So, Wal-Mart underpays women? So, why don't they fire ALL the men then and save themselves even more dosh? This ad's so clueless, it isn't even funny.

  • Americans are the biggest consumers of cheap crap in the world. Americans aren't suddenly going to get a conscience or an eye for quality, Walmart will still be packed with idiots buying junk

  • you just dont get it. WE PAY FOR WALMART EMPLOYEE's MEDICAL. WHAT PART OF WRONG DONT YOU UNDERSTAND? No one gets paid decent, no one gets to be well paid, no matter how hard they work or how many years they stay. YOU LIKE THAT? You go to RUSSIA. and keep your filthy hate somewhere else, like your house. pig.

  • How did the 5 US Supreme Court Justices deny certification of Dukes Versus Walmart needed to go to trial? Scrutinize them by studying the ethics of Antonin Scalia and Clarence Thomas that US Supreme Court Associate Justice Abe Fortas was forced to resign. Research rule 23, class action lawsuits, and the decision to grant Walmart's petition to deny certification of a lawsuit from Betty Dukes and other women.

Costco Wholesale's legal team supported Walmart petition vs Dukes.

  • Respectfully - Walmart and their critics can scrutinize the histories and policies for legal evidence, instead of the sometimes awful behavior in political campaigns of Democrat versus Republican.

Can Rob Walton a lawyer and the leader of Walmart with their supporters and associations such as The American Legislative Exchange Council disprove and debunk their critics?

Walmart and alike may comment, it is unnecessary to explain our culture corporate responsibilities to our critics.

  • People like Rob Walton and alike in the US are protected by the Republicans and the Tea Parties.

  • wal-mart workers are staying with wal-mart to fight for a change, as in get an union in their workplace & the company[wal-mart] is not allowing it, they don't want the workers to have a union or have any rights at all. they want to screw the worker over & over out of benfits, healthcare & wages, it's wrong, if you don't think it's wrong then you are a REP who don't care about unions at all.. or union workers. it's better to be Union than Non-union.

  • @deathswat Better to be union than non-union? Tell that to those unemployed UAW = Useless Auto Workers parasites in Detroit and Flint! Walmart needs to fire every one of those fucking ingrates and bring in real workers who will appreciate the jobs instead of trying to strongarm the company into paying above free market value wages and Cadillac benefits.

  • @deathswat If I was president, I would outlaw all unions, declare them to be terrorist groups, hammer them with both RICO and the Patriot Act, arrest and execute all their members and supporters or send them to Gitmo, and seize all their assets and property.

  • Glad that frivolous class action case against Wal-Mart was turned down.

Funny how unions seem to pick a bone with any business that does to much to raise the standard of living for everyone else.

  • @StateExempt Every "worker" who was involved in that case needs to be fired and blacklisted from employment for life. Their families can take care of them for the rest of their lives, since they clearly did such a shitty job of raising them.

  • why should I pay more at the local grocery store so the owners kid can take over and live on the lake

  • @gonadcancervictim The only local stores that Walmart put out of business were crappily run and obsolete businesses that had ripped off their customers for decades. Good fucking riddance to them! WALMART ALL THE WAY!!

  • Will Dukes V Walmart meet the criteria of Federal Rule Civil Procedure 23(b)(2). The company refuses to internally promote the time tested ... ten rules ..., global ethics, management by walking around, especially servant leadership. From 2005-2011, known misinformation regarding Sam's Club 6625 has become more distorted so you Google about this club and for books on Walmart and Sam's Club. May justice prevail.

  • So, with a bad economy you want to get rid of a company that provides thousands of jobs and cheap goods, clothing and food to millions of Americans? Yeah, sounds like a great plan. Wal*Mart as a company has every right to import goods from China, it's their choice. Don't want to work at Wal*Mart? Don't get a job there, don't want to buy goods from Wal*Mart? Don't shop there. Idiotic statists.

  • "I pay low wages. I can take advantage of that. We're going to be successful, but the basis is a very low-wage, low-benefit model of employment." -said Sam Walton, founder of Wal-Mart.

  • this is what you get when you don't have a union under you. i work under a union and haven't got screw over, if i did then i call the union and it gets fix, when the union promise to do something for you like higher pay and wages, they do that and we can afford the healthcare, $5 out of my check every week, not bad but with wal-mart-non-union] you get screw 10 times over and you can't do anything about it, that's wrong and it needs to change.

  • @deathswat Nobody's forcing them to work at Walmart. They're free to quit and find another job if they don't like the way they're being treated.

  • come on people lets get smart and not whore mart

  • If you don't like Wal-Mart don't shop there. If you are offered a job for $7 per hour and you need $11 per hour to live on do NOT take the job. It's really not complicated at all.

Does life ever seem unfair? Yep, because life ISN'T fair. If you were raised to believe that life IS fair then you are a product of bad parenting. Maybe you could sue your parents...

  • @randy95023 - Hey Randy get a fuckin clue!!! This company shits not only on employees but customers too.

  • @clusterfocked agreed....

my mom bought 2 xbox 360 controllers earilier today....THAT THE EMPLOYEE SAID WAS WIRELESS...

AND EVEN COST THE SAME AS A WIRELESS...

    both were wired...

got scammed of over 50 bucks cuz xbox only got 2 outlets and we already had a wired controller...

and my impatience got the best of me...accidentily opening one, ripping the box apart....

walmart stole 50 bucks from my mom.....

only wal mart would do that

  • @randy95023

    Ha ha ha!

  • The more we trade with china, the less communist the become. Trade restrictions are just a new age form of racisim.

  • Slave - Mart selling Communist junk to ignorant Americans.

  • Hey, i was a manager there for 8 yrs, and just quit. I felt like i only made them stronger. I hate the company. The question is, what can we do, nothing because people wont quit shopping there

  • Wal-Mart sucks.

  • RAZOR2177

Ppl need household items, and many do not have a choice anymore. When Wallyworld enters a town, watch the other stores disappear. I shop there and I hate it, but I have little other choice. They are ruthless. They flood the store with 'made in china' garbage. After 5 failed purchases, I refuse to buy anything made in china. I despise that country. Would rather spit in their faces than look at them. I'm starting to feel the same about WM.

  • It does suck because they got people by the balls. I am unemployed and have been since Aug, and still have not bought anything at wal mart since i quit. No food or nothing.

  • fuck...and you wonder why were in a ression.

  • stop supporting the communist state of China - boycott walmart - Your american shop american -

  • 1.8 billion seems like nothing compared to the way the president is spending money..

with him raising taxes, of course people are going to shop at walmart, the prices are much cheaper

you wanna fix the economy? stop wasteful spending on things suck as how bears mate

  • they tried to establish in germany and failed horrible and lost 3 billion €, I´m so glad about it, fucking loosers

  • I don't understand why anybody shops at Wal-Mart. Each piece of made in China crap that they sell represents a manufacturing jobs our country lost. In addition, most of what Wal-Mart sells is crap that no one actually needs. It's just another example of the out of control consumerism that is killing our economy.

  • not just the economy, it is killing the world's ability to sustain life.

  • I can attest to that; I work there, and one of my jobs is to do carry-outs. I keep wanting to ask the people "Do you REALLY need a 55 inch plasma TV that can't even fit in the back of that already oversized SUV??" Wal Mart drives along the outright lie that "more is better" even if the "more" comes from sweatshop labor and criminally underpaid employees. Basic social conditioning, IMO.

  • Ouch. Not only that, but if those idiots lose their job in this economy, that 55-inch Chinese-made TV will be of no comfort. People need to stop and think about where their crap is made. This country needs to stop consuming so much, and start producing. Anyway, I hope you can find a better job soon. Working for Wal-Mart and helping them to hawk their wares made in third world countries (at the expense of good paying American manufacturing jobs) has got to totally suck.

  • It does suck, but at least I'm only pushing their carts around (and their cart machines are broken pieces of shit BTW) and not selling their broke-ass products. You're totally correct though; even the employees there are all caught up in the lie of "more is better" and bust their ass just for their IPhones and PS3s and XBox 360s. They look down on me 'cause of my apathy towards having a bunch of "new" shit I don't need.

I'm trying to find a new job... but it's just not easy in this economy :(

  • I just saw this commercial tonight on TV. It's about time someone does something about Wal*Mart. With the economy in the toilet, the only place people can affort to shop is at Wal*Mart. And I believe Wal*Mart is part of the blame for the economy. It's just a vicious circle that needs to be stopped. WE the consumers helped Wal*Mart grow and become the goliath that it is. Now it's up to us as consumers to stop them before we are all working for Wal*Mart !!

  • Closing all the little stores all over. No oneknows anyone anymore. And WE the taxpayers..pay for the Walmart UNDERPAID employee's health care.. And they cant hardly pay rent..long hours.. • @TREYOLDHIPPIE The only local stores that Walmart put out of business were crappily run and obsolete businesses that had ripped off their customers for decades. Good fucking riddance to them!
