I don't understand why people get so prissy whenever someone dislikes Death. People have opinions, and everyone sees merit in music for different reasons. Just as everyone will not agree on what the best color is, everyone is going to disagree about the best type of music. Yeah, there is no reason to call someone an idiot over music preference. Some of the most interesting conversations I have had with people involve the explaining of why someone likes or dislikes a certain kind of music.

You cannot control what other people like and it makes you more of an idiot not being willing to accept that. You shouldn't judge someone because you disagree on something like music. Opinion has no right or wrong, just personal choice.

Best album by one of the best metal bands ever in my opinion. Amazing musicianship doesn't mean much to me without good songwriting. Death were just a totally stellar band in every way, especially when this came out and totally raised the bar for me. Made me realise just how lame lots of hugely more popular music really was. Ever grateful to Chuck Schuldiner for his gifts. He was a leader and an inspiration in guitar based music and an incomparable and truly irreplaceable artist. Sadly missed.
