Burn? I hope that is not your intent. 2600's are a bit rare, and they won't yield the type of results you are looking for. As for the NES, just get any DC 9 or 12 volt wall adapter and plug it in. The DC -/+ polarity does not matter, as it was originally designed to use AC.

Any NES will happily run on 9 to 12 volts DC safely up to 1 amp. In other words, hook up a 9-volt battery and surf circuits to your hearts delight.
