@JacksonDeanna well he was knocked out for the procedure. Like any surgery, animal or human, there is some tenderness in recovery. he recovered just fine.
What do you call that tool being used on his nose? And is it safe/painful? Never saw one before, then again I'm not familiar with the gelding process.
@1verstreate1 its called a twitch. It is not painful. It releases endorphines to help the horse relax. Also creates a focal point so that the horse has something else to concentrate on.
does it hurt when he falls?
