This kicks the PC-Engine version of the game that I have! Still at least they didn't change the goalie mask in the Japanese versions because of Friday the 13th :-D

Wow, thats a neat system, great sound on top of that. From what I understand the system sold poorly. Can you imagine being the only kid on the block with a Marty while everyone else had Mega Drives or Super Famicoms?

jap version, no such thing as a usa version on the marty as the marty is jap console only, hope this helps ;-)

I finally found a Splatterhouse to go along with my console. I can't tell from yhe video, but does your game take up the whole screen, or do you have black bars on the side because I can't get it to take up the whole 4:3 ratio no matter what resolution I use.

i use a hantarex 29" arcade monitor for my old consoles such as the marty etc, yes splatterhouse does not run full screen, nearly does tho. most marty games i find are like this for some reason, but yeah mine runs in a centre window aswel.

marty consoles are quite rare to find on they own, splatterhouse is like finding the holygrail
