This game blew my 13 year old mind when it first came out! I know I put well over 4000 hours playing this game over the next 3 years, and that was back when I had dial up internet. People would say "I called your house and the line was busy all day long." That's because I was playing this badass game on Battle.net from morning to night. SC2 is okay, but the original was just so evolutionary for its time. Thanks for uploading this man!

When I started becoming more and more insync with video games at age 10, I decided to challenge myself with a new type of game. Hence to say, StarCraft was my first rts game. I love the simplicity, yet each stage gave me a new challenge to balance simplicity with increasing difficulty. The music really made me feel like I was in a war in space, as well as have created an atmosphere of danger. Blizzard truely had set the bar for rts games and I have yet to play a game that has reached that bar.

Starcraft the most annoying stupid RTS. I played thriough it all once because well sure it has an epic story line. But it is dumb because of a lack of more units and true 3dness it is made to look 3d not be 3d also it is not near as moddable as other games(Total Annihilation etc.) Even to this day i will never like starcraft but maybe starcraft 2 will be better than it (sure looks good)

Blizzard Entertainment has always produced fantastic music for their games, especially their early RTS games like this and Warcraft II. Of course with the heap of professionals they have composing for them now we can expect to be absolutely blown away by Starcraft ][, Diablo ]I[, and their Next Generation MMO.

Sweet lord this soundtrack is the shiznit. I love how Blizzard was able to tailor each track to that specific race's identity and persona in the game. With the terran themes you had a sense of militaristic and industrial thrust, with the zerg you had a very noticeable feeling of inevitability and unrelenting pursuit, with the protoss you felt an epic sense of loyalty and valor. This is on my short list of best soundtracks ever made for a game.

latest news? The multiplayer beta is 'months' away. When that starts you are close to getting the first part of SC2 "Wings of Terran" or something, but Blizzard have always been vague :p

...or Wings of Liberty i forget now -_- Star craft2 is split into 3 parts, the each part focusing on a race and being a complete game with an over arching story relating to all 3. You can only play all 3 races in Multi-player. Bit 'hmm' about that approach, but can't wait none-the-less.
