  • @pianomags I absolutely agree with you here! Perfect music of great Handel! Perhaps the best aria from The Messiah. Evebody knows only Hallelujah! But when this aria is arranged for an alto (not bass-baritone!) it sounds just heavenly in a countertenor's voice! This version is much better than another video version on YT! I'm not sure when it was recorded, but it sounds the same to me as on my CD. It's so smooth and effortless! And I also like very much Daniel Taylor's version also on my CD:-)
