You're totally right sweetwater88. The project has been canceled.The plan WAS to bring the Kuga to the US but today I went online to search about the Kuga and I read this:
"On July 20,2007,a report indicated that Ford executives were considering the prospects of sales in North America.This idea was later scrapped after it was determined the car could not be sold both competitively priced and at a profit in the US due to the current US$-Euro exchange rate."

Yes, I know...The 2011/2012 model will replace it. Not this one,this one is the 2009model.

I don't know about that. The Kuga was originally coming here as a Lincoln but due to the falling dollar the project was canceled.
