You must be very proud of this. I remember watching it on TV in 1963 - I was particularly interested because I was a 'leading tipper' in my army cadet corps of drums and I wanted to learn the drummer's call. Odd to think it was your Dad who taught me it on TV. Best wishes and thanks for putting this n.
I served with your father in the 2nd Bn in Germany, Windsor Lydd etc. I remember him well, and his wife. He was a good man, you have every right to be proud.
Silly me, it's the Wellington quick march..I like the sound of it in this video more than from the other youtubevids...Kudos to your father and all other British soldiers from the past and present!
Though the quality is not brilliant it is still nice to see clips from past troops and naturally you're proud of your fathers role in the parade and of his being a Guardsman and what's more one in the Corps of Drums as well!
Forgive me if I am wrong but as far as I able to determine he is a Grenadier Guardsman, yes?
How odd--the soldiers are armed with sub machine guns.

I was the 'leading tipper' in a cadet corps of drums so I can imagine how proud you must be of your dad. Nice to see this clip.

I had family in the Royal Marines, but even they are not as good as the Grenadiers.
