Does anyone know what song that is in the background at 6.00 when they talk about Factory finally going bust and the Hacienda closing down? Sounds a bit like Durutti column to me!
Most of what happened with Factory was before I was born, I must of been around by the time that the Mondays went to Barbados to TRY and record "No Thank You" haha!
Barbados is in F**king Venezuela! Actually it isn't, but I like the way he put it. RIP to a true legend!
Tony Wilson was fortunate to have a well paying gig so he could gamble and not care about results. I love the bands that Factory signed but I do feel for them as they should have had some cash at the end of the day.
Thank You for uploading this Anthony H Wilson, Martin Hannett, Ian Curtis, Rob Gretton RIP, The Hacienda, and Factory Records gone but certainly never forgotten Manchester is indeed a thriving ambitious multi talented cultured city and its people like them who brought Northern Music, Club Culture back to the masses turned this city upside down brought hedonism and colour to a dull grey concrete suburb inner city shithole in the 80s we thank you
