ok they are very imposing if need be , just looked at Bowser very good looking DDB good head and built well , what are you feeding him , i wish i could find a nice female , not happy with the quality i am looking at at the moment
Im looking for a breed that will protect me if im attacked on the street and will guard my property, (dog must be able to attack if im attacked and if my property is being robbed). It also needs to be a good family dog. Ive been reading and i think the rottweiler or DDB might be a good choice but im looking for opinions from other owners.
believe a Female won the weight pulling contest this year with the weight being 3000 lbs so I would say they are strong . Very wary of the who belongs and who is a stranger he does not bark much but when he does I make sure to look. As far as temperament they are scary as to how gentle they are with smaller animals , kids , and family, so if U are looking for a mad crazy watch dog I wouldn't recommend this breed ,
Hey, where in brooklyn you take him out? i have a french mastiff as well..he is 2years old... i would like to get 2gether with other mastiff owners and let the dogs hang out 2gether...

Are these dogs strong? More importently are they protective and wary of their surroundings, and how do they compare to rottweilers as a guard dogs.
