I think geomagnetic surveys would be cheaper. And if geomagnetic doesn't work (e.g. at railway tracks) you can use your GPR instead. Fluxgate Magnetometers are great. If you have much vegetation or steep hills, you'll have problems with your EM61 cart. Also the data-processing isn't as hard as for geoelectric surveys.
Why are you using an EM61 for metal detecting?
