God this promo is so amazing ... i don't think that Jane killed John !! i believe they wanted us to not get bored of Red John winning every time so they made this thing up but i'm sure that there's a secret between this whole thing ,, .. i think that there'll be a hole that will make Jane not get into jail and then season 4 will be focused on Jane/Red John & the relationships between the whole team :)) or at least i hope so :D

this is a very, very well made trailer. so well made that i wouldn't be surprised if after a few seasons the mentalist wrapped up with a movie! It would be better than finally revealing who red john is in a crumby action packed episode or double length episode.

Hey, u did a gr8 job with The Mentalist. If any day the makers plan to make a movie adaptation of Mentalist, they should know who 2 contact 4 the trailers.

Suggestion: How about giving a little red- tinted look to the entire film (just perceptible amount), that might b in sync with the story.
