  • I remember, I was so in love with the third book and with Remus when I was younger and I first read it... then I heard about the movie and got very excited, till the trailer came out and there was this actor for my favorite idealized character and that hairless bat-chihuahua-werewolf thingy... well, things do not turn out as you want them to do sometimes. ^ ^

Now I get along with this movie. ;-)

  • one thing i never understood is why Moony didn't recognise Padfoot, but i suppose if he did, then it wouldn't make a good story line.... well it would, it would be a lovely story line but... not as action filled.

  • good, but Lord of the rings is more better

  • @Penguinmanm Not all werewolves are the super buff hero/teen werewolves Hollywood churns out. It could down to to how fit the human is, but it might not. In that case there could be buff werewolves in the HP universe so Lupin, not portrayed as a physically strong person, would be a thin werewolf. But look, it comes down to the specific fiction, anything is possible. I could go on but...my head isn't all together on this issue yet, it's been a lazy day. Too lazy.

  • Werewolf Lupin has anorexia.

  • Sirius Black as wolf looks better then Lupin

  • @Pikachu2820 Sirius is animag - dog - not werewolf.Lupin is werewolf watch 0:38

  • 0:32 Potter against man who petrayed his parents ! WATCH IT :D

  • Snape: There u r, Potter!

Lupin: Well don't mind me, im just hangin back here !

Snape: Oh shit, we're all fucked.

  • If Remus had taken his potion, he wouldn't have transformed into a werewolf. Pettigrew would have been captured and he wouldn't have brought Voldemort back. No one would have died.

  • @thekingofRIS That's so true lmao. There would only be three books though haha

  • @thekingofRIS Ah, nien. If he'd taken his potion he still would have turned, but he wouldn't have gone crazy. He would have retained his mind.

And I read a fanfic were Barty Crouch Jr. brought Voldie back, so that's always a possibility.

  • @ladyofrillwater If Lupin had taken his potion, he would have turned into a harmless werewolf. Then Sirius wouldn't need to grab him and they could focus their attention on Pettigrew and prevent him from escaping. As for Barty Crouch Jr., he couldn't bring back Voldemort because he needed to bring Harry to the graveyard. No other Death Eater would have done it either because they were in jail or too scared. As you could see in Harry's dreams there were only Crouch and Wormtail

  • Sorry but this is not a good werewolf. I LOVE the Harry Potter book series and movies, don't get me wrong, and I hate the Twilight series and it's werewolves, but this werewolf just looks like my Malimute who hasn't eaten in a long time, his legs have grown, and he can stand on them. My opinion, best werewolves are from the Underworld series and the Van Helsing movie.

  • this was the first scene in all of the harry potters where i thought that there was more to snape because if he was really evil would he have thrown himself infront of harry ron and hermione like that? :)

  • 1:27 I love Ron's "Nice doggy.."

1:34 Snape's reaction is like WTF?

  • Yeah I do find lupin kinda sexy to AND LMAO 0:16 "Remus me old friend, have you taken your potion tonight? you know the man you truly are remus, this heart is where you truly nip"

  • Comment removed

  • keep pressing 6 and Snape flaps his wings!

  • Anyone notice how Snape's first instinct when seeing Lupin as a werewolf was to throw the kids behind him?

  • @Saiyanprince1114 And everyone says hes an evil bastard. pffffft. Snape fan xD

  • I love how Snapes facial expressions like "Oh Fuck" when he sees Remus as a werewolf XD

  • starting at 1:05 this thing scared the shit out of me when i was younger...

  • Edward Pattinson disliked this video.

Anyways , am I the only one who missed the Werewolf scene ? All I saw was a giant rat.

  • I love this scene in this movie, its soo cool how they protrayed a werewolf :) but poor Lupin though :(

  • lupin looks like a twig with teeth

  • nice timing future hermoine and for once sirius was serious

  • Werewolf played by Marnix van den Broeke! Check out his IMDB profile!

    W W W.imdb.com/name/nm2257390/

  • The dog that played Padfoot needs a new home...

  • This scene scared the hell out of me when I was younger :P

  • this use to scare the shit out of me in third grade i'm in 8th now and this is bull it only took him five dam seconds to loose himself start growing and wolf out WTH first of all why didn't these people realize it before only one who knew was hermione and what a werewolf get's stopped by a dog bull man

  • I hate this Werewolf. He looks stupid. He's to thin and he looks like a nice dog not like a badass Werewolf.

  • @OptimusPrimeFan10 But logically, a human cant get any bigger in a matter of seconds without getting thinner, and the only way it would look like a typical werewolf is if it shrunk and grew more muscle, and that wouldnt looks very badass

  • @OptimusPrimeFan10 Whats a bad ass werewolf to you, then? I trust you have read MrAdzerman's comment.

  • @OptimusPrimeFan10 How? The reason why he's so skinny is because Lupin doesn't eat humans.

  • I´m thinking, and I don´t know if in the book is that kind of information, but maybe Snape loses his wand on the house... during the attack of Harry...

  • Too thin ?

  • Guys, its supposed to be like.

    Werewolf means Half man/half wolf.

It kinda had to look a bit like human.

  • Snape is such an AWESOME teacher !! I wish my teacher was as selfless as snape :)

  • snape really shines in this scene. and harry as usual

the force is strong in this film, more so than the others, in my personal opinion.

  • worst werewolf look ever

  • Wen I was a litle kide I was REALY scard by this scene:)

  • When Snape shields the trio! <3 Love him.

Does anyone know why he didn't bother chasing Harry though?

  • @TomWilliams145

Um if you listen carefully someone is howling, which lured the wolf out.

  • @Naatashax3 I mean Snape, why didn't Snape go after Harry?

  • @TomWilliams145

Oh, haha I have no clue. BUT, if you look closely hermione

was trying to go after harry too, and snape had to stop her.

But, other than that I have absolutely no clue. :D

  • @TomWilliams145 The writers didn't make it so in the script.

  • @TomWilliams145 ....seriously?

  • @TomWilliams145

I wonder why Snape, the one who teaches Defence Against the Dark Arts (how to defend yourself against the Dark Arts and be protected from Dark creatures), doesn't do anything else but protect kids with his body and then get hit by a werewolf.

  • Looks like a giant mutated mouse, lame.

  • I know it might sound weird but i really waned to give Lupin a hug at 1:14...... I guess cause i've always been a Lupin Fan, but also he sound so sorry for hurting Sirius and his dog whimpers are adorable!!! <3

  • The skinniest werewolf I seen.

  • Werewolf my ass! This wasn't a werewolf. It's a werechihuahua! This thing looks like it could've been fended off with a handbag.

  • Ahhh. Jacob created a Youtube account to dislike on this video because he's jealous of Lupin's AWESOME WEREWOLF SKILLS!

  • Poor Lupin. :( And I love how sickly and weak he looks in his wolf form as well. He drinks wolfsbane every month after all and that's bound to have some impact.

  • He looks like an monkeyrat, still better than Twillight.

  • At Heineken Music Hall in 2010 Tiesto was remake this scene with house mix

  • character development !!!???

  • Suddenly Malfoy's comment in the first movie about there being werewolveS (more than one!) living in the forbidden forest just got a hell of a lot scarier...

  • i have a puppy named grim.

  • @TikTokToxic SMH

  • @TikTokToxic thats probably the most retarded and stupidest thing anyone can say

  • @harryosbournez Well not really. I'm more attracted to the fluffy "Be mean if I want to" wolf. Way cuter and more docile. Now, if you're the one who like ugly, terrifying "coming to kill you no matter what" werewolves, then you're right, I did make a lousy comment. It depends on who's looking at it....

  • @TikTokToxic twilights a fuckin joke made by a woman who made a terrible grammer errored book you do know that? unless your one of those robert lovers who think that vampires fucking sparkle

  • @harryosbournez real men dnt sparkle. lupin beats jacob 100%

  • @TheHpluvr247 THANK U

  • @harryosbournez First of all, you little troll....I'm a Jacob fan. Second I said it depends on who looks at it. By the way, if I wanted to change the subject from were wolves to you being a dumb @ss critic, I would have asked you!

  • @TikTokToxic nobody gives a shit if your a fuckin jacob fan. your not a smartass even if you wanted to. its spelled ass you pussy. and you sound like every obnoxious bitch who watches twilight so sit the fuck down and nobody gives a shit about twilight

  • @TikTokToxic

Jacob is just an overgrown house pet who needs to be neutered and Edward is a stupid fairy princess playing dress up as a 'vampire'. the books and movies are shit, and you are idiotic for even thinking they are worth something, as books, movies, or characters. There is no character development, and the 'leading' men are pussies who are in love with a fucking boring emo-wannabe girl who is selfish and complains about every damn thing.

  • @First1Kiss Very true...I just love wolves, I could care less about either of them

  • @First1Kiss

    Exactly

  • @First1Kiss Damnit! This is the best Twilight review I've ever heard! :D

  • @TikTokToxic Are you retarded? Werewolves are meant to be terrifying, human like, and kill anyone, friend or foe. Hence the derivation from old English; Were = Man. Such folklore has been around for centuries, as early as the 12th century in fact. It doesn't depend on 'who's looking at it'. The "Werewolves" from twilight are just large wild wolves, not even having any sort of human semblance. So not only does your shitty twilight crap buttfuck vampire lore, it also screws up werewolf lore too.

  • @TikTokToxic

    LMAO!!!!!

If you like those wanna be wolves from twilight,

WHY ARE YOU EVEN WATCHING A HARRY POTTER VIDEO ANYWAY AND EVEN BOTHER COMMENTING???

THOSE LAME WOLVES DON'T DESERVE TO BE CALLED WEREWOLVES.

THEY HAVE NOTHING ON HP. I REST MY CASE.

  • I knew that Lupin was a werewolf as soon as I heard his name. For one, none of the Defense against the Dark Arts teachers were normal, and also "lupus" is latin for "wolf", meaning that "Lupin" must be a werewolf

  • Am I the the only one that finds Lupin sexxy?

  • I LOVE how Snape comes in and protects them. I understand now why he did this after reading & watching Deathly Hallows. I literally cried after I saw the Pensieve scene in Deathly Hallows part 2.

  • Why on EARTH would you compare this to TWILIGHT? In Twilight, all Jacob does is turn into a furry werewolf. We get that. But LUPIN'S transformation is much more defined and it makes him look very vicious.

  • A very twilight scene

  • @Gracechoi1000 Fuck u, I say. Fuck u!

  • @Gracechoi1000 How the hell is this like Twilight?

  • 1:01 when i first saw that i thought remus had ripped several of sirius's limbs off :P

  • Ok that kidna scared me... 0:12 - 0:29

  • I like how when Snape comes out saying "there your are, Potter", Ron is just pointing at the werewolf.

  • I just LOVE the way Snape protects Harry, Ron and Hermione its so heroic of him :) and when he cried to Harry to come back It shows how much concerned he is for Harry and does care about him....wow just thinking about this makes me sad :')

  • Now THERE'S a werewolf! This scene has always been one of my all time favs, and not because of his Royal Hairiness. Snape's protectiveness over these students is amazing, considering his supposed dislike of them. Awesome.

  • Totally cool

  • 1:41-2:04 That's one of the best fight scenes I've ever seen. Now THAT was a real werewolf unlike other movies (*COUGH* Twilight*COUGH).

  • @goldblaze93 hohoo!! Don't forget the werewolves from Van Helsing :D

  • Ron& Hermione& Harry: :O

Snape: There you are Potter! *turns around* :O

  • I remember watching this scene in the cinema 7 years ago, and it scared the living shite outta me, It wasnt untill, like 2 years after that i could sleep easy, and here i am today at 14 =D

  • I love how Hermione tries to pull a King Kong & Anne moment with Lupin.

  • @SusanBaudelaire ITS HILARIOUS

  • Gotta admit, the werewolf in this movie has a pretty original design, closer to what a mix between a man and wolf would look like, instead of a hairy man like most werewolf movies have.

  • Comment removed

  • this thing scares the fuck outta me

  • remus looks like our dog

  • as soon as snape gets out of the hole he wants to kill harry LOL

  • @unluckyhat thanks for clearing that up 4 me. its just i havent seen the full movie i appreciate tht u cleared tht up

  • I love how you think he's going to be cool and understanding when Hermione talks to him an then Aoooooo!!!

  • It's not scary...

  • Wait, is Sirius Black a werewolf?

  • @lillyhale215 No, he's an Animagus.

  • @lillyhale215 serious is a animagus i think thats how its spelt its like a shapeshifter and he turns into some black dog

  • @lillyhale215 no he's an animagus. he wasnt born that way like prof. Magonigal. He, Harry's dad, and Petigrew used a potion to become animaguses

  • @453SUSHI453 oh well ya but wut about hermione?

  • Why didnt snape just use petrificus totalus?

  • if you see someone turing into a werewolf and someone yells run run why dont you run i mean do you have a death wish if he acutally killed someone that is

  • thats what you call a real werewolf

  • Jacob who?????

Lupin is the real deal. Now this is what you call a real werewolf.

  • @gullywog You're right. Jacob is like Sirius - he can turn whenever he wants, the Quileutes just call themselves "werewolves" 'cuz they can turn into only wolves, but they know they are not real werewolves. In the book of Breaking Dawn, at the ending, Edward - I think - mentoines that there were real werewolves, but Klaus or who killed the most of them.

  • @LiliumChan0531

um, are you supposed to be replying to someone else cause I never said sirius is like jacob.

  • @LiliumChan0531 Im sorry whos klaus in twilight?

i read all the books but i cant remember i ask because. Im obsessed with vampire and werewolf stuff haha but yeah.. klaus is the oldest most badass vampire in the vampire diaries

    one of the "originals"

    wierd coincidence?

  • @gullywog This or Underworld :D

  • @gullywog That's what I said. Lupin IS a werewolf. Real werewolves are like him, not the ones in the Twilight books. In the 4th book they mentoning it.

  • @gullywog

That's what you call a real werewolf? Have you ever seen Underworld? Those are the true beasts

  • @NessajaMusic

Um, how did Underworld reach into this topic? The other person who replied to me asked which one I preferred so I guess you should ask them first and then I'll give you my answer. peace.

  • @gullywog

...sorry, did I wake you up inadvertently? My bad

  • @NessajaMusic

Maybe I'm wrong but are you trying to insinuate something against me?Just asking

Anyway the werewolves from underworld are not scary to me BUT INTERESTING.

I'm not a fan of underworld movies though

I DON'T THINK THE WEREWOLVES FROM EITHER MOVIE IS SCARY BUT THEY ARE BOTH WELL CREATED.

I PREFER LUPIN. HE DOESN'T LOOK LIKE THE ORDINARY FURRY WEREWOLF & THE FEATURES ARE MORE INTERESTING WHICH MAKES IT EVEN MORE INTERESTING. I THINK IT SHOULD ANSWER YOUR QUESTION

  • @gullywog

Not scary, yes. But they look more powerfull and stronger and more dangerous and so on..

Especially the Transformation of the underwolrd beasts looks more interesting

  • @NessajaMusic

Underworld kinda revolves around werewolves whereas, HP does not. SO therefore the werewolves in that movie are obviously more developed in terms of their features and transformation.

Anyway, that's your opinion. Their transformation is just alright for me.

I just prefer Lupin. He's more interesting for my taste

You have your opinion and I have mine so let's end the story right there. PEACE.

  • I love Ron in the background... Nice doggie, nice doggie xDxDxD

  • when was there werewolves in a wizards movie?

  • @SwirlTownGurl264: Eh? There's everything in the Harry Potter universe from werewolves and vampires (Sanguini for the win!) to hags and banshees. Trolls, dragons, mermaids, goblins, etc... chances are if it exists in popular muggle mythology it exists in the HP universe. xD

  • @mieroth i dont thnk theirs mermaids in Harry Potter, J.K Rowlings would never put thing to kiddy in her books..............

  • @SwirlTownGurl264: Are you trolling? You claim to be a Harry Potter fan on your profile but you clearly haven't read the books OR seen the films. Mermaids for one play a very big part in the 4th book/film. :/

  • @mieroth no, im not trolling. i have read all the books 2 times in second and third grade. I have seen the movies. The 4th movie was all long time ago, so i dont really remember anything what happened in any of the 1 2 3 and 4 movie, so clearly, i have a memory problem so dont even try to tell me im dumb about the Harry Potter series, cause i clearly know whats happening in the 5 6 7 8 movies in the seires, which is a good thing cause who cares about the 1 2 3 and 4 movies?

  • G'Mork vs. an anorexic werewolf!!

  • Good GOD, It's been It's been 7 years and this scene still gives me the creeps!

  • Take that, Jacob.

  • the twilight werewolves are basically animaguses. i guess the author of twilight forgot about the whole 'the full moon werewolf' thing. in harry potter, that's how i picture werewolves. and just to let everyone know, im a werewolf. no joke.

  • @Penguinmanm not 2 spoil ths for anyone who hasnt read the books but hav watched the movies but at the end theyre discoverd to be "shapeshifters". tho animagus is a better description since animaguses can change into a only 1 animal, shapeshifters should be able 2 change in2 any animal. They also mention how theyre real werewolves out ther with the full moon but the Volturi has almost wiped them all out. And yes, i do lik the books not movies but i totally agree that this is the better werewolf.

  • I will not play 'Hungry Like the Wolf' or 'Of Wolf and Man' around Lupin.

He does not find it funny.

  • keep pressing 3 for hermione leg hump ;)

  • this is probably the only scene in the movies where snape shows that he actually cares about harry and the students

  • @GoatManager yea because if u see the last part of the last movie u know he cares about harry in the end when snape dies

  • snape does care deep down ! Its so cute when he protects harry and his friends! He just doesnt like to show his true feelings!

  • the only thing that buggs me about the harry potter werewolf is that it really doesn't look wolf like: it has no tail, and it has a bit of a combover leftover from lupins hair! otherwise i think it's pretty good.

  • keep pressing 1 and look at sirious black and the professor in the background

  • I could see this in Minecraft... It could work.

  • SCARY ASS WEREWOLF!!!!!!

  • LUPINNNNNNNNNNNNN! <3

  • This is nothing compared to Twilight. The "werewolves" there looks like pigs. but this... this is awewsome!

  • @Sprattelnalle wait... this is nothing compared to Twilight, but there werewolves look like pigs. What do you mean,.?

  • @LifterC3

I mean that Twilights werewolves are ugly and they are not as good as this werewolf here. Hary Potter is well-made, Twilight werwolves are not well-made.

Twilight is nothing compared to Harry Potter. Do you understand?

  • @Sprattelnalle Twilight isnt my favorite movie, But i must admit i gave all 3 films a try and although i fell asleep 4 times(which never happened to me)i cant say those wolves looked fake or bad and they dont look like pigs. They are however not real werewolves and their design isnt very original if you compare it with bad-ass Lupin. but i siriously dont hate Twilight to much, my girlfriend always forces me to watch them and they arent horrible. But harry potter will always be supirior!!

  • harry: sirius! *runs off*

snape: come back here potter! *grabs hermoine back to prevent her from going after harry*

he's such an awesome teacher <3

  • @onestarys 2.29: god damnit woman, now it's coming for us.

    woman: sorry ,allergies.

  • Ron is weeping boy

  • when Snape pops out i cant help but laugh... the "oh shit,," experession gets me everytime xD

  • In my opinion, this is the most believable werewolf I've ever seen. The transformation and the anatomy is more realistic than the muscled up furry standing wolves in Hollywood today. Don't get me wrong the werewolves from Van Helsing was another fantasic job, but if one were to look for realism this would be the werewolf for you.

  • @justsmall333 Oh yeah, 'Geen goed idee' means 'Bad Idea', indeed :p I suppose Ron said it, though I didn't hear him say it.. O_o

  • now this is a werewolf transformation

  • that werewolf is so creepy...

  • Sirius's doggy yelps are so hearthbreaking :(

  • 2:25 "Ah, shit."

  • @justsmall333 The subtitles are in Dutch. None of the things said in the subtitles are said by Lupin. If you mean the 'kom mee', that's Dutch for 'Come with me', so Lupin doesn't say anything after the transformation.

  • Hermione: "Werewolf!"

    Harry: "There"

    Hermione: "Huh?"

Harry: *points to Lupin* "There wolf. There castle" *points to Hogwarts*

  • SNAPE FTW!

  • in wich one does harry become a werewolf?

  • I like how Harry runs after Sirius and Snape yells "Come back here, Potter!" And Hermione tries to run after him, but Snape grabs her

  • I didn't like Snape 'til I saw the end of the final movie. Now I can't get enough of scenes like this, where he protectively shoves the kids behind him.
