In that case there could be buff werewolves in the HP universe so Lupin, not portrayed as a physically strong person, would be a thin werewolf. But look, it comes down to the specific fiction, anything is possible. I could go on but...my head isn't all together on this issue yet, it's been a lazy day. Too lazy.

As for Barty Crouch Jr., he couldn't bring back Voldemort because he needed to bring Harry to the graveyard. No other Death Eater would have done it either because they were in jail or too scared. As you could see in Harry's dreams there were only Crouch and Wormtail

In my opinion, this is the most believable werewolf I've ever seen. The transformation and the anatomy is more realistic than the muscled up furry standing wolves in Hollywood today. Don't get me wrong the werewolves from Van Helsing was another fantasic job, but if one were to look for realism this would be the werewolf for you.

I just LOVE the way Snape protects Harry, Ron and Hermione its so heroic of him :) and when he cried to Harry to come back It shows how much concerned he is for Harry and does care about him....wow just thinking about this makes me sad :')

Now THERE'S a werewolf! This scene has always been one of my all time favs, and not because of his Royal Hairiness. Snape's protectiveness over these students is amazing, considering his supposed dislike of them. Awesome.

Gotta admit, the werewolf in this movie has a pretty original design, closer to what a mix between a man and wolf would look like, instead of a hairy man like most werewolf movies have.

Jacob is like Sirius - he can turn whenever he wants, the Quileutes just call themselves "werewolves" 'cuz they can turn into only wolves, but they know they are not real werewolves. In the book of Breaking Dawn, at the ending, Edward - I think - mentoines that there were real werewolves, but Klaus or who killed the most of them.

I'm not a fan of underworld movies though
I DON'T THINK THE WEREWOLVES FROM EITHER MOVIE IS SCARY BUT THEY ARE BOTH WELL CREATED.
I PREFER LUPIN. HE DOESN'T LOOK LIKE THE ORDINARY FURRY WEREWOLF & THE FEATURES ARE MORE INTERESTING WHICH MAKES IT EVEN MORE INTERESTING. I THINK IT SHOULD ANSWER YOUR QUESTION

Underworld kinda revolves around werewolves whereas, HP does not. SO therefore the werewolves in that movie are obviously more developed in terms of their features and transformation.
Anyway, that's your opinion. Their transformation is just alright for me.
I just prefer Lupin. He's more interesting for my taste

@SwirlTownGurl264: Eh? There's everything in the Harry Potter universe from werewolves and vampires (Sanguini for the win!) to hags and banshees. Trolls, dragons, mermaids, goblins, etc... chances are if it exists in popular muggle mythology it exists in the HP universe. xD

The 4th movie was all long time ago, so i dont really remember anything what happened in any of the 1 2 3 and 4 movie, so clearly, i have a memory problem so dont even try to tell me im dumb about the Harry Potter series, cause i clearly know whats happening in the 5 6 7 8 movies in the seires, which is a good thing cause who cares about the 1 2 3 and 4 movies?

the twilight werewolves are basically animaguses. i guess the author of twilight forgot about the whole 'the full moon werewolf' thing. in harry potter, that's how i picture werewolves. and just to let everyone know, im a werewolf. no joke.

@Penguinmanm not 2 spoil ths for anyone who hasnt read the books but hav watched the movies but at the end theyre discoverd to be "shapeshifters". tho animagus is a better description since animaguses can change into a only 1 animal, shapeshifters should be able 2 change in2 any animal. They also mention how theyre real werewolves out ther with the full moon but the Volturi has almost wiped them all out. And yes, i do lik the books not movies but i totally agree that this is the better werewolf.

@Sprattelnalle Twilight isnt my favorite movie, But i must admit i gave all 3 films a try and although i fell asleep 4 times(which never happened to me)i cant say those wolves looked fake or bad and they dont look like pigs. They are however not real werewolves and their design isnt very original if you compare it with bad-ass Lupin. but i siriously dont hate Twilight to much, my girlfriend always forces me to watch them and they arent horrible. But harry potter will always be supirior!!

In my opinion, this is the most believable werewolf I've ever seen. The transformation and the anatomy is more realistic than the muscled up furry standing wolves in Hollywood today. Don't get me wrong the werewolves from Van Helsing was another fantasic job, but if one were to look for realism this would be the werewolf for you.

@justsmall333 The subtitles are in Dutch. None of the things said in the subtitles are said by Lupin. If you mean the 'kom mee', that's Dutch for 'Come with me', so Lupin doesn't say anything after the transformation.
