@steelersfan5512 I tried this on Xbox once...and in all honesty RTS' are complete crap on console, they only work on PC. So yeah you should get it for the PC and give that a shot instead.

I have a huge concern!!! I've been playing ra2 yuri's since release.... you can imagine i'm an uber pro... Problem is I just purchased a new comp and it has windows vista... I hear there is problems with the formats for online play... Should I just install windows 7 or windows xp for an extra hundo??

Somehow I can't believe 8 minutes without being attacked by a hard ai. When I play me and a friend vs 2 mediums we usually get attacked by tech 2 units( hammer tank chopper vx, guardian tank) about 3-5 minutes. 8 minutes on a small map without a major engagement? No way.

the first thing you should do after building a refinery is to build a crusher crane, so you can build structures faster and easy.

Japs for some reason are easiest to beat but I always play the japs. The hardest for me would probably be soviets. I really hate the graphics, the way you have to click everything all the fcking time. The japanese "mecha tengu" doesn't even shoot back when it's in the air in guard stance. I expected ra3 to be way better.

Actually the best is Red Alert 2 :D

But if u have to choose then I'd say Red Alert 3. The expansion sucks though.

And as for Kanes Wrath...keep a distance of around 100m from any copy of the game.

I GOT NO IDEA IF 360 AND pc HAVE DIFFERENT WAYS OF PLAYING BUT SEEING AS YOUR SOVIET BUILD A CRUSHER CRANE RIGHT AT THE START AND GET 2 REACTORS RUNNING THEN BUILD A REFINERY WITH THE CON YARD AND A BARRACKS WITH THE CRANE SO YOU ADVANCE IN TECH AND START BUILDING DEFENCES AT THE SAME TIME i played as empire against 3 allie mediums and got through with the skin of my teeth i couldnt expand until an enemy was completely destroyed if have hints for dealing wth different commanders can you help me?

im not pro either...but im decent...the easiest to beat as far as brutal goes is the soviets...make sure there are water expansions to get to...and definately harass alot since they aren't very impressive micro...just don't get caught with only 2 ore nodes for long or you will get owned...and yes by the way I have beaten several brutals

Allies are pretty good. Plus, I'm a good allied player that doesn't need to Vindicator spam.

Anyway, nice game between you and the ai,I can already see a good soviet player coming soon xD. But of course, everyone needs some advice: I noticed that you barely have anti-air defenses aside from a few flak troopers and bullfrogs, but just in case you encounter enemy air spam like chopper-VXs, a few more bull frogs should hold them off. Hope to see you online sometime. :)

What I do is build a massive defence and the n slowly chew awa at their economey until they have spent so much money that they can't rebiuld after a superweapon....it not that good of a strat tho.

if your on hard, they make ideas to counteract. i usally make a sneeky approach with spies to dissable power

then then turrets out i bomb energy.

or send in like 3 harbengers then attk. also i attact important structures. such as energy, construction yard(to disable some abilities) :D, and refineries :D

Soviets are best at this. i ask anyone to try in magmacosm(or w/e the 6 player place is) to destroy 3 hard soviets using 2 hard teammates(allies or empire) and ofcourse urself. i've used allies and the empire and ended with overrun by 20-25 twinblades, 10 hammer tanks, 3 apocalypse tanks and v4 launchers blowing the hell out of everything else.

A soviet bunker (engineers build them) with 5 flak troopers costs just 400 more than a Tesla Coil, can hit air units, and uses no power. You can repair it like a normal structure if it's in your base limits.

yea i have beaten a brutal ill say this no matter what faction u play as or what facting the brutal playes as be prepared to rush and to be rushed its a good idea to rush the enemy first with maybe a few anti infrantry troops such as the bear and dog and add in some hitter troops like the flak trooper or javilen troopers just make sure u deffend well from all sides and be prepared for the small to medium and very numerous attack waves with constant reinforcments aside from that is mainly luck.

i just got the game

i can't seem to make money at a decent rate. Thats why i liked CnC Generals best, you could get supley drops, black markets, and hackers for extra money

make sure you get both refineries at the start of the game. Also, if there are oil derricks on the map, you can rush engineers for them at the start. make sure u expand your base and get more refineries. Altogether you should probably have about 4 for a steady cash flow.

hope that helped, and cnc generals is very different from ra3 so make sure you dont play ra3 like generals.

its not stupid, ive been asked quite a few times. I used a program called Fraps, it records like 99% of games. But make sure when you use it you have a lot of free harddrive space, since like a 2 minute video can be about 1gb!
