i killed him with his back lecks in the loading part on area 5 if you want any help with him get a hammer good armour and charge (pound) is back left leck so he wont get enough time to attack the wall

@SkullessCubone first of all i dont use hammer or GS. i use the hunting horns and on monster hunter tri i use the swichaxe and a bowgun (custom). second of all ive used a lance on agnaktor and diablos as well, beat em both easily. nothing manly about hiding behind a shield and poking every now and then. still a pussy weapon.

for those people who say that he cant die in zone 5, you have it backwards

he can die in zone 5 but not zones 1 to 4

in zones 1 to 4 he wont die because once his health is low enough he will be invincible until zone 5

i know thios because i fought him with the monster health monitor mod using cwcheat

i have a glitch of lao shan when i attack lao shan my friend keep shooting like that then i press Triangle + circle something happend weird i teleported or its lao shan the teleported 2 meters away from me that makes my friend so happy we have time to kill it :D hahaha

@zealiscool its a felyne skill meaning you have to buy a cat that has the heroics skill and when u have it cook for you it has to get in its "hyper" mode to activate the heroics skill for one quest, and your hp has to be less then 10% i believe.

you kinda suck, why would you ever need evade+2 for lao? would have been better if you had something like reckless abandon+1 or higher sharpness+1 and sharp sword combined with the diablos lance in my opinion

@carnage98kill not if you pwn it hard enough, the game knows that time will run out before it could possibly get to the final area and just ends the quest while it is still alive in the first zone. the only bad thing is that you don't get to carve it, but who cares when you can beat Lao Shan in 5 minutes? XD

We had two people destroying his foot with dual swords so he would trip over and over only progressing like two feet every time he gets bac up before tripping again and me and another guy were triple pounding the crap out of his head both using the hammer "claw of doom". After 5 minutes of this he was only halfway through the first zone and the objective cleared message appeared and we got rewards and everything

the skill u r about to tell is *potential* armour skill.. and in this vid the only A.Skill is the two activated skill from narga X, that is the *evade & evade dist.* inc. the sharp sword from the decoration... so y wud u think that the ATT boost is from the armour skill that when ur HP goes down (not 10% but 40%) ur ATT and DEF will automatically boost... *adrenaline +2* ryt?

@Attatsu Headlocking is creating enough damage to the monsters head so it flinches, and while its flinching you charge more damage to the head so it flinches again right after the other flinch. By doing this you can beat some monsters without even giving them a chance to attack...

Shadow Spear 'Black Rain' is kinda overpowered. Purple Sharpness multiplies its attack by 1.5x passively. headlocking lao shudn't pose a big trouble with heroics and adrenaline or possibly attack up large too.

ESP however would stop it bouncing at all, still get the lower damage but its worth it in some cases for the shield, however in most cases if you need a sheild you may just want to go lance, if your skilled enough with it.

It's the way the mission is programed...you can't kill him until Area 5. He has so much life though that it is extremely hard to kill him without attacking in the other areas.

Head locking is when u use a powerful weapon (mostly lances) and u hit a monster in the head repeatedly making it flinch over and over. Quick killing and the monster dosent really get a chance to attack you.
