oh COME ON!!! You've got some really rosy memories of the original Phantasmagoria! That game was over-hyped GARBAGE. There was no horror, no genuine scares, no plot, laughable dialogue and razor thin characters, the cheesiest "rape" scene ever filmed, and a HORRIBLE ending. The much better game out at the time was Gabriel Knight 2: The Beast Within.

How is this being run? Through some sort of VMware/DOSBox, XP, or Vista? Seems like it doesn't like whatever platform you're using. Weird "window blinds"-like effect during in-game FMVs and lots of hitching in audio. You're awesome though, can't wait to see more.

It's some weird kind of Firefox bug that affects everything that has to do with Flash. Reboot your computer and it will work. Keeping down the number of tabs has reduced the problem for me.

What's an LP actually? I know it stands for Let's Play, but is it like a playthrough of a game without having played it before?

LP is normally for "longplay" which means "not a speed run", so a normal paced playthrough in other words. If you've ever compared a speed run to a long play, you'll see that the long play offers a more authentic representation of the gameplay.

Good luck getting into the LP thing Spoony. Blind runs are pretty difficult to do, especially so on these 'make a wrong turn and you die' type games.

There's some audio level issues on this one to keep the game from drowning out your voice, but that kind of thing will be worked out I'm sure.

I'm sort of split on this, because on the one hand it's Spoony, and I love most if not everything he does, but on the other hand, it's a youtube LP, and they have a tendency to suck really hard.

There are many reasons why Youtube LPs tend to suck. Recording video off of a TV using a crappy camera set at a thirty-degree angle, crappy editing, NO editing, video LPing a turn-based RPG, poor audio quality (case in point), poor video quality, and, yes, crappy commentary.

The intro was wrong. I'm not that much of a moralfag but they should never tie people up like that, if you want someone to stop going crazy, you do NOT fucking restrict all of their movement that it starts increase their stress levels, furthering the psychotic episode. You just lock them into a room or create some loud noises.
