If I remember correctly she recalled how she grew up around different cultures in her neighborhood and that most likely played a huge role in DCD's music. I could be wrong and thinking of someone else though....but i'm pretty sure that's it. ahah

I absolutely love female fronted symphonic metal but this song is horrible. There's no hook or good tone and certainly no choir/symphony. Some Imperia songs are good but this one is sdly not. It's way too long and way too shrill.

to start dead can dance is not 'electronic', and IT IS very gothic; they're first three albums (specially the first) it's REAL gothic rock (so forgotten and misused by now) and their later albums are still gothic rock just that mixed with etnic, ancient music. Besides the band has great significance for gtohs: their song saltarello from aion was the song which made the gothic subculture be linked with (and listen) medieval music. Being goth is not only about wearing noisy black clothes dude.
