I do not know who Bob MaCauley is, but I do know that he knows nothing about turtles and tumours.

Fibropaillomatosis is not a cancer, and cancer is not the only thing that causes tumours. Besides, animals get chronic diseases of all sorts, including cancers.

We have spent over 20 years studying turtles with tumours. I'm pretty sure I know one when I see it.

@homeostasis4me This Bob fellow does not know what he is talking about. Do a Google Schollar search on fibropapillomatosis and you will find 10's of studies and papers on sea turtle fibropapollomatosis. I plan to make my thesis for masters of environmental science on this.
