The song meaning comes from the one presenting it. While it can be used in speaking about the relationship one has with their mate, I chose to relate it to my LORD, who when I allowed HIM into my life, into my heart did make all the difference in my life!! What HE did, is doing and has done in my life no human could ever achieve!!! Therefore this is my love song to the LORD!!!

@heathero1407 My husband and I attended a wedding for his co-workers who had this song sung at their wedding. I had never heard it before, and the woman singing the song-- WOW she had the most beautiful voice. I've never heard it sung better than that ! It was in '81 or '82 can't remember the year.
If we take a look at our old days and compare with our today, we're expected to see a lot of differences because the Lord has poured His Spirit into our hearts. However: If we are still the same and we make the same move and reactions as long ago: there're 2 answers : a) we lost the vision. We 've given roon to the world. b) we've never had a real transformation... Anyway, there's power in the Blood. Jesus is still wahsing minds and hearts .... May the Lord bless you.

BUT, when you just stop, pray and lay it all at Gods feet, leave it there, and go on, he will abundantly bless you. For some that may be religious. And for others a relationship.
Whatever you choose for this song to mean in your life it was made
as a decation to his wife and that was the original concept of the song.
However you choose what fills your heart when you hear it Ronnie Milsap can sing!! Thanks for posting such a great song.
