she really was a brilliant skater, and loved her artistry. Drugs can affect anyone in life, and I'm so sorry that she fell into that trap. I really hope that she gets some help, because she was a beautiful skater who was and in some ways still is a role model. I'm hoping she gets help, and then is able to be a role model in helping people stay away from drugs. When you're in the spotlight things can fall apart quickly. Nicole please get better

This music selection for an exhibition makes me smile, because it's so Nicole. A trifle zany, but, oh! so entertaining. :)

3:13-3:20 was incredible, one of those choreographic moments that stay with audiences for years. The match to the music's highlight was absolutely spot on. And the ending was perfect and totally unique, just like the program. Good job, Nicole.

It's just too bad the decisions she made in her personal life couldn't have been the same way.

The musicality of this was perfect. Didn't she improv most of it?? I actually like the lion king/pochohontas program better. Can somebody upload that program from the Metropolitan Skating Open in 1996 where she beat lulu and Michelle. I would like to see it again.

Wow! Nicole was my favorite female skater growing up. I was in elementary school at the height of her career. I was in 6th grade when she skated this number. Watching this routine again makes me realize what a truly amazing skater she was. She danced that whole program. There wasn't a single moment where she wasn't dancing with her entire body into each skating element, and with such fluidity of movement. The choreography was just brilliant. I'm going to watch more Bobek videos now.

WOW. That was amazing. It's a huge shame Bobek wasn't able to reach her full potential. She definitely would have gone down as one of the best ever. Gorgeous line, amazing flexibility, great spins, strong personality...and her jumps were high and beautifully rotated when she had the confidence and focus!
