  • This is great and I thank you for it. If you take requests, will you do the same for the organ solo from Evil Ways? Thanks again...

  • It is not appropriate to announce the song you are covering in the way he does; he does not show much respect in the opening '...or whatever it is called.....' A truly great teacher has respect for the melodies, composed by others. I am a teacher, not a great one, but I always teach my students to respect the composers they get there material from.

Besides the opening, the video is great.

  • ....and there you go that's the whole song.....you are an idiot.

  • What a bad teacher. He starts with one type of Dm then he changes it in the middle then he plays a different one and then when he puts everything together he does all sorts of other things he did not explain combining different chords. A waste of my time.

  • great teacher...Thanks Chris

  • could you do more vids please?

  • I´ve been looking for this tutorial for a long time.

    THANKS!!!

  • enjoyed this! Thanks for posting

  • love this Chris your videos are always great. Thanks Josh your teaching technique is great

  • Superjob! Great teacher. Please consider more of these songs (esp. Joe Cocker).

  • Great job...more please. It was really step by step and very clear. Thanks

  • Excellent lesson! Josh makes it look simpler than it is (at least for a beginner like me).

  • Great teacher! Thank you. A simple but educational piece that will allow for a lot of improv.

  • The correct inharmonic is G# sharp not Ab. There is no Ab in the key of A minor or in a E 7#9 chord for that matter. Call it splitting hairs if you wish. Ab and G# are the same note but the musically correct name for that note in the key of A minor or E major is G#

  • @namelessrevisited

Absolutely correct. It's not splitting hairs. That's why I corrected myself. Thanks and I hope you enjoyed the video.

  • Great video. The teaching is right in the middle of "not too complicated, but not too dumbed down". I'll definitely be able to use this video to learn the song. Thanks!

  • @seangarland - thanks! Josh is a great teacher. I'll definitely be posting more videos from him as he makes them!

  • great !!!!!
