The matrix has inspired alot of philosophers like Steven Yates who wrote "the real matrix" which is a must read. After I read it I could watch the movie and understand the meaning of almost everything said in the movies. It's 100% how spartan described it since it is based on our society.

Sometime if I wish for a laser to send me in books, movies, tv shows and games I want to go into The Matrix. I would go in there to touch the mirror like Neo and wake up in the pod to be slimy, naked and covered with tubes like Neo. The tubes will be on my arms, back, chest, stomach, legs and hopefully my other parts and once I'm unplugged and fall in the water I might stay bald and naked in the whole movie.

All you are telling me to do, is to use what I know to explain what I see, but we humans don't know everything, and thus shouldn't do that, as that is foolish and has led to some pretty stupid things in the past.
