  • How did you know it was a ganglion cyst?

  • Luv that it didn't need to be hit really hard. I guess I should go hit myself.

  • But cutting and squeezing is so much more entertaining.

  • LISTEN, I'M NOT A DOCTOR, BUT I HAD A HUGE ONE ON MY LEFT WRIST. I ASKED MY BROTHER TO HIT IT WITH A TEXTBOOK. AFTER ABOUT 3 FAILED ATTEMPTS AND SOME MINOR PAIN, I WAS ABOUT TO GIVE UP. BUT I TOLD HIM TO TRY IT AGAIN, AND AIMING FOR A DIFFERENT SPOT, HE DID IT. IT'S BEEN 2 DAYS SINCE THEN, AND IT'S GONE. I HAVE MINOR PAIN AND REDNESS FROM THE AREA BEING HIT, BUT I SAY DONT GIVE UP IF YOU ARE ALREADY DOING THIS METHOD. AGAIN, IM NOT A DOCTOR! BUT THIS WORKED FOR ME.

  • dude! did the cyst ever come back???

I have one just like yours....

  • lol i had one on my hand my friend accedently busted it, but it just came wright back??

  • omg i thought i had a fucking tumor i got the same thing just a bit smaller

  • How come most of these I've seen on Youtube are on the left wrist?

  • @psx2514 I dunno. I have one on my left hand on one of the tendons.

  • after harboring one of these embarrassing little fuckers for almost 3 years (well not little at all, mine was quite pronounced) I watched this video then gave it a smack with a hard cover dictionary, 1st go failure, second crack and the bitch was flat and dead to me. my non expert and non-binding advice is definitely to TRY THIS AT HOME!!! only side effect was i pissed blood for a week (nah i made that bit up) All good

  • I have that too... called it Geoffrey...

  • I would do this, but mine is solid. Anyone else with this problem?

  • @MinecraftZephos mine is solid as well... I had it removed in 2001 but it just came back within the past year. My family doc is just monitoring it right now (it keeps getting larger) but she thinks it may be time to see the hand surgeon again since it's painful :/

  • i hit mine with a book, and fuck me if that wasnt the most painful thing ever, it didnt dissapeared, it got worse, 4 all who think this is the solution, go to the docter: )

  • I have this myself .. and hitting it with a book is probably the most painfull thing I can think of right now .. o.o xD

  • it's works ! :)

  • Lol

  • wait ... why does he eat the camera at the end?

  • Lol who ever that was at the end was funny

  • @AirsoftPractice, yay common sense ...

  • my sis has one of them. I about to go bang it out

  • @drewby6789 The last part "thats what he said"

  • i have one on both my wrists what are they from exactly?

  • lol at the guy goin "do it again, do it again." after it was already gone

  • People aren't very smart when doing this. It might not reappear for a few months but eventually it will because all you are doing is popping that sack of puss under your skin so all the puss is still there. Obviously it looks gone because the sack is popped but realistically it's still there without the bump, just a layer of puss under your skin.

  • lmfao i know microsoft was good for some dam thing ....hahahahha

  • That's how you get rid of it, but it isn't cured. If the cyst's sac or contents remain within the body, it has the tendency to return. The best bet is to seek a professional, not a phone book.

  • @JanJanHolmes Actually they do this at the doctors office, no joke.

  • @JanJanHolmes

Where are you going to get the professional's number? The phone book.

  • I did the operation, now I have a scar that is NOT going away ! ='(

  • did you get rid of the symptoms? ie like the aching or fealing like your hand locks up?

  • man i have the same ting on my right hand.. it was removed but it camed back :(. now i have to go for a second operation. it really hurts when i play piano

  • and u think u were so smart you were able to get rid of it??? you only made it worst.

  • mam to samo na dłoni :((

  • Comment removed

  • @ladida57 just pops out under the skin and gets absorbed. it's a transparent gel pretty much.

  • i need to do that :( mines hurts bad

  • lol @ :43.. (thump) ahh you fucker

  • What happend here is that it popped in the skin... :L not recomended...

  • i just used surgical needle didn´t hurt at all

  • @niltsirk sorry not all of us do heroin. idk if most people have that shit

  • @kirox777

lol i don´t do heroin i´m a nurse haha otherwise i would have chopped my arm off :)

  • lucky I had to have surgery on mine

  • ok i have one right like his on my wrist its a tiny bit bigger ........and no frickin way im wackin mine with a book :L

  • ive got one on my jaw and aint noone hittin it with a book

  • :L ive had one 3 times in the same spot (probibally filling back up) its coming back again... i recomend mosh pits XD love the tags XD

  • yeah and it will probably come back too lol I have one too deep in my wrist to do that.

  • @setsukisan no, if you drain it then it is very likely it will come back but if you pop it with a book there is a very small chance it will ever come back.

  • "ow, you F*****. oooh, i went down!" lol So my question is did your friend (cyst) go away never to return?

  • @SouthTexasGal830 went away and never came back

  • @freddypipes I KEEP ON DOING THAT TO MINE AND IT WONT GO AWAY!!=(

  • @freddypipes very lucky, i had to have mine cut out, plus the skin around the area got partly destroyed and sun burnt :( because of that i had to have skin removed, so now i got a greap big scar

  • "ow, you F*****. oooh, i went down!" lol

  • nooooo!!!

no no no no no no no no no!!!!!!

  • You could have done it with much less power. Next time take a smaller book ; ) I did it the same way by myself

  • why the hell didn't you take it out?

  • it is safe to keep that jelly fluid inside your body???

  • Works great! Just did it myself - of courxe i filmed it ;)

  • You should have cut it open.

You get a sense of accomplishment when you do it that way.

  • hahaha funny guy at the end

  • lmfao, i mean it didnt explode but u know it dissapeard

  • im getting mine cut out :(

  • @lighter97 < - < It's actually safe, you fucktard.

  • @lighter97 I would mock you if you're weren't so unintelligent that I'd need to explain the insult.

  • @Altaeris Just leave me alone -_-

  • @lighter97 Leave you alone? Why? I've the right to now blast your retarded ass off Youtube for "attacking" me in such a failed manner.

  • @Altaeris ...Okay lol.

  • @Altaeris You're the one retarted. I was 13 when I posted those comments. If you were mature enough, I think you'd have the smarts to just ignore me.

  • @lighter97 What was that? "Retarted"? And you WERE thirteen? I think your inept mind kinda failed to create logic there.

  • @Altaeris Sorry I replied back so slow, I had trouble reading your obnoxious comments there, can you repeat that? LOL

  • @Altaeris Ok

  • 1:24 he looks like ernie off sesame st lolz

  • I had a psychic help get rid of mine. She had me doing affirmations as well as sending healing energy to drain it. This took 7 days. (And I previously had a HUGE ganglion cyst on my wrist for 5+ years).

  • oh ouch dude. i gotts one on my left had and ive already had it removed, and its back. FML

  • Mine is only a minor one, but on some days, it just hurts like hell to lift anything...And some times its gone on its own...IDK what to do with it! Should I do what they did in the video here, or just go to a doctors to remove it or what?

  • @ChrisBlues166224 the doctor. it more of chance to go away if its removed than wacked. wacking it can break ur risk and theres a high chance it wil come baaack~ :P

  • Comment removed

  • I've been whacking my god damn ganglion cyst with books for 2 days and there still there!!!

  • @meowmixer59701 Maybe have someone strong hit it with the book? LOL Sorry, couldn't resist.

  • I hav a ganglion too its been five years since i've had this on my wrist....same position and same hand as shown in the video.....what i want to know is did it reappear?and how much mobility did u regain in ur arm?were u able to move your left hand jus like your right hand coz at present its not i can move my wrist completely it causes a lot of strain.....

  • I think the fact that they are at work is more humorous then the hitting itself.

  • i just got tired of mine so i gt a book and nailed it and it just dissapeared

  • yea to bad it drained the puss and all that crap inside him

  • @zamenace1

its not puss, its just jelly, nothing bad, doctors actually recommend it often. i don't think they would recommend something thats bad for you.

  • @zamenace1 It aint puss. its the liquid the lubricates the joints, its a clear thick liquid like corn syrup.

  • @zamenace1 Ganglions aren't filled with puss and crap, the fluid is the same transparent stuff that we have in every joint in our body. It's just leaked out and formed a small bubble.

  • damn...I'm too scared to do it to mine!

  • im not going to sleep at night after the guy at the end went all 'IT' on me :D

  • thanks guys you encouraged me to pop mine and i did it, had to hit it about 4 times but it's gone now

Thanks saved me from panicing about it.

  • the reason i said that was i thought it was an abscess, that is why i said you need to remove the puss

  • i feel very sad every time i watch an american video about people doing medical stuff by themselves...it seems to be in a third world country

    free health care for everybody...now...

  • They even used that method in Europe its nothing special. Its called a "bible bump" for a reason

  • i live in europe and i've never seen anything like this in my life...in europe we go to doctors...that's it...we don't need to become domestic surgeons

  • I'm from Europe aswell and its common used method. Maybe YOU have not heard about it before but it does not mean that it is not being used. And this is not even surgery. You wack the cyst it ruptures within your skin. Then gets filtered out with your blood with the help of your kidney. Its nothing harmfull its just joint fluid. Educate yourself before posting such bull. Feel sad about your lack of education.

  • oh yeah...just wondering why doctors don't use this method instead of cut, open and stich without any payment from the patient...you have something to teach to the whole medical world...start educating the whole medical world, not only me...

  • Next time you visit your doctor ask him about it and I'm sure that he will know about the method. I visited a few doctors about my cyst and I asked them and they all knew the method. Pretty sure that they do not use it due to it not always working. I should have asked them why they are not using the method anymore.. Cutting or draining ALWAYS works (not that it cannot get return after) and they also make a "buck" out of you :) afterall its not all about curing people but also about making money

  • about your last sentence about money....i don't know in belgium, but in italy a surgery like cutting and draining is completely free....so in this case it's not about money

  • Wrong. Healthcare pays it for you. They still make money out of it even if you are not the person paying for it.

  • this is not what i was talking about. what i was talking about is that the doctor wage doesn't change if you go to cut, open and drain or to solve it by yourself smashing a book on it....so the doctors are not moved by money in deciding to open or not

  • Its not the same doctor. I visited 4 doctors to get my cyst removed. One to diagnose, one to take scans of it, one to look at the scans and send me forward to a surgeon and then the one doing the surgery itself.

But whatever pointless discussion I'm sure they just make money out of it even if you are not paying for it.

  • SLAAAAAAAYEEEEEEEEEEER

  • lmfao

  • Deicide - Bible Basher would have been a funny soundtrack (padum txiiiiiiiiiiiiiin!)

  • you're crazy dude!

  • man you need to pop it with a pin man that shit is poisonous you got to drain it out of your boby septicaenia blood poisoning man

  • Its not poisonous. Its joint fluid.. humans "oil" to make our bones stop from wearing down from movement. If you pop it with a pin you risk infection and thats really bad.

  • Wow.
