@kerog6 it is old video, so settings are minimal for make rendering fast with slow computer. Now I could render it with so much better settings. Maybe I will someday render it again with some textures & more realistic lighting.
Nice one! Love the central lighting and pleasing colour choice. Have you tried making a bezier/nurbs curve path over the path of the dominos (after converting the game sequence to IPO) then parenting the camera to follow the path then adjusting the path length to match the speed of the dominos falling as they go round? If you set up a long path and render the static view and the following view to two renders, then cut between them in movie-maker and add a soundtrack the results are so cool!
Did you select game > Record game physics to IPO and then play game and render animation (ctrl + F12). F3 didn't work ... blender saves animation automatically somewhere. My animations did go to c:/tmp/. When you start rendering it shows path in console window.
k my only advice is increase the speed of the domino fall by increasing the mass of your first domino when it hits the other ones will move a lot faster
i actually have blender but i dont know how to make the blackround stuff and i dont know how to use the stop motion thibg if you know anywhere that says where or you could send me a mwssage telling me your self that would help

pretty much any, but as usual the better ones are, faster, and you can see things more clearly.
Its the processor you have to worry about because python (you need it with blender) isn't computable with some/

How did you render the animation? If I click physics to ipo then render animation nothing happens to my dominos :-(
and..I would save an animation with F3, is that right?

It's just blender physics.

Nice! It's like a slow-mo of dominos falling down.

wooow!!!! como haces eso? hay alguna opción para que esto se haga por inercia o hay que animar pieza por pieza?

El programa tiene un sistema de fisica y particulas muy bueno mejorado mucho en la ultima version 2.46.

Could you try doing that with a Roman theater:P?
That would take a little more time, but it would look so cool.

I agree with shrimp, but you could also do so by going into the nla editor and scaling down the diamonds.

@otherbasher
go to game up on your screen and then record ipo then play the game. now go to your ipo window and there you see you record it :)
but it goes very slow so you have to change it a bit.
